Nice video! I'll do the long sit test every now and then when one of the first things my patient says in the eval has to do with having been told her hips are "out of alignment". I'll check it pre and post treatment to help with patient buy in. I find that this test is usually positive due to a unilateral or asymmetrical increase in tone. Then after a repeated loading strategy, if effective, the tone is reduced and the long sit test no longer positive. Classically I was taught to perform MET techniques when this test is positive, but now realize that the isometrics are primarily helping to reduce tone rather than "pulling things back into place".
