I dont get how media (k. Sheehan, in particular) have been so complimentary of this guy johnny newton. Hes played almost a full season at this point and i cant remember a SINGLE splash play hes had. None. Ive seen him get walked backwards 4 yards by o. linemen repeatedly in the running game, not much of anyrhing as a pass rusher, and the cherry on top was that offsides in the pitt game which every pop warner kid would know. Maybe he'll pan out next year but....this rookie season? Very forgetable for me. I will forget his rookie season come spring time because theres nothing to remember.. edit: also the way people have talked, sounds like a massive reach on this ben sinnot guy. That's was a 2nd round pick and I'm hearing some carefully chosen words to say this guy is not a factor and a long way before he will be, if ever. This first Peter's draft has been disappointing. The qb pick was simple, he essentially inherited daniels. Sinistril looks good. The rest has been crap. Coleman meh
