The scaling in this game is honestly not very good. I am a revenant main because the revive system is the worst gaming mechanic I've ever seen designed in my history as a gamer. The incantation damage doesn't really change much even with faith relics.

I even played a round with some friends who were using greatswords on wylder and I picked up a greatsword to join in on them and I had a higher rated attack than them with their own best scaling weapon.

I’m started to like Guardian more and more the more I hear about him.

We had a bean of doom in me and my buddies game and for some reason my friend (playing raider) dropped his radahn greatswords for some reason, and the revenant stole them and taunted him for the rest of the game, until we all inevitably died to boreal dancer.

I play revenant and (it may be that i also main Dutchess) i mainly go for status condition weapons on her, claws or anything else that attacks quickly (often carrying her starting weapon for a while bc i got a relic that gives it bleed) Ill have one or two of those and fill the rest with seals, since she wont do high damage with melee I feel giving her status application is much better.

Since he has such ridiculous HP and decent stamina scaling, only go for greatshields if you can. The game has some kind of RNG leniency and I learned more shield bashes means more shields drop.

Now in old Souls games i was not this guy. Birdman, I two hand greatshields and I have a few good reasons why.

1. They can do damage too, and good.
2. They can also have status effects.
3. In this game they can even do counter hits and backstabs.
4. Higher stability.
5. If you move for improved guarding ability with passive and increased guard counters, guard countering with a great shield is free real estate.

His best weapon is a greatshield and preferably one with a status effect. Look for HP traits, guard counter effect traits and stamina. Learn to apply the passive guard skill and keep relics where guarding angers foes. I also try for reduced art relics to heal allies more.

Birdman doesnt slap hard but focusing on big shield only for some reason makes him live longer, help more, do more overall damage, and after awhile, shield bashing kind of becomes this hilarious sport.

Birdperson is funky. His best weapons are shields and whatever can shield poke, not because of stat scaling but because of how his Passive works

i will not stand for bird slander, he is a TANK. plus his ult blocks damage and is an AOE heal if you have the right relic. yall just dont know how to use him

For players that doesn't understand these numbers, let me tell you : ITS GOOD! Don't only think about her 'B' or her 'A' in stats. Just play her daggers relics and/or fully magic.
