Nice! Was waiting for this!
Never got first comment before, like anywhere.... ever...... Nice lol
Very cool.. so that kit has the board 2.
ОтветитьAfter watching the video, all I gotta do now is wait until the official RetroPie release and I'll pull the trigger on the Pi4.
ОтветитьI am hoping there is a case similar to this one in which the tower heatsink and fan will fit nicely.
ОтветитьI am using Top and Bottom of old version 9 layer case, with extra nuts to hold it in, The Fan just clears the heat-sink
Now the 4B cases are out, i will grab a couple
Where's the Rubber/Silicone Feet ? Do not want scratches.!
ОтветитьThey jumped the gun on the Pi4 release.
ОтветитьAlways blowing out with the fan extracts the heat from the sinks instead of pushing it around inside the case.
ОтветитьSo, would you say that a 5v/3a PSU is fine and there isn't an absolute need for the official 5.1v/3a (15.3w) PSU?
Ответитьthese wafer cases are so boring and the little heatsinks are so weak. i put ultimate 3510 cooler on my pi3 with thermic pate and glued it on then put dualfan heatsink on the ram and sdcard slot underneath. then shoved it in superpi case with the little bin cut out
ОтветитьI love the aesthetic of these cases... it's an awesome 'look.'
ОтветитьGot this case. It's good and a good fit
ОтветитьI bought one but I am not too sure how to even use it probably. First time user here. Should I return it
ОтветитьTo save wearing out the keyboard try adding 'watch' to the command ... watch vcgencmd measure_temp
ОтветитьOn the Pi 3b & b+, the GPIO 5V is straight from the power supply, the 3.3V was not recommended.
ОтветитьNot ship to Poland. Damn.
ОтветитьI really love your challenges! How about this in another window of LXTerminal?
while true; do vcgencmd measure_clock arm ; vcgencmd measure_temp; sleep 1; done
You can show clock speed and temperature even during the benchmark.
Hi drew, looks like this def gonna b in my pi4 list. Hav you ever thought of combining ice tower heatsink with this case? Of coz need to do some modifications.
Hope that u can do it as this would b awesome.
Just looked on their site, but I could not find this case for a Raspberry PI 4, only for the older models.
ОтветитьHey drew, its me again. need your opinion since you done a lot of review for pi's casing. Currently im newbie for the pi and my 1st pi going to be pi 4. Aside from Ice Tower, i already narrow down to 2 casing which is case with fan (as per video) and armor case (w/o fans). Im not sure between this 2 is the best to decrease the temp for pi 4. For you info, i will be using pi 4 for desktop use / media player.
Thank you for your help yah. really appreciate it.
Great video. After watching it a couple of times in slow-mo mode it was easy to put the case together. I took your advice and put the screws in from the git-go. That made it easier to hold the case together. However, I positioned the fan so it sucked the air "out" of the case. ;-(
Ответитьboth my hdmi converter and official power cable cannot plug into the ports. the case is blocking the edge of the cable to fit in. it seems to me everything is exactly the same as the video.except we use different cables. I am not sure if I mess up the sequence of the acrylic panel?
Ответитьnot eating your nails would of helped
ОтветитьA group of my coworkers bought canakits and they were all complaining about heat issues. I opted for this case and haven't had a single heat issue. I run the fan on the slow speed for completely silent operation. Very pleased with this one. Thanks for the review.
ОтветитьHow to use this thing in Europe? That outlet connection does not look right. Also this looks complicated to assemble..
ОтветитьAnybody try to put a Noctua 40mm fan in this?
ОтветитьYou were lucky, they've replaced the nuts with jam fasteners that are too small to grab the side of the hole. You can't over-tighten the screws but for people who wear a size 14 ring it is a real pain in the fingers.
That said, thanks for a very good and helpful video.
My case was different, but I was looking for assembly instructions for the fan. I wasn't sure which GPIO pin-outs I needed as the instructions were too small for me to read, even with a magnifier. So your guide worked a treat. Thanks :-)
ОтветитьThanks for this video. Was very helpful when assembling my first Raspberry. So everything went very smoothly.
ОтветитьI have a case just like that for Arduino
Ответитьso what does this do ?
ОтветитьCould u recommend this case with a over cl
ocked raspberry pi 4 4gb
thank you for your video, I have another similar case but it really helped me watching it.
Ответитьthank you for video, please I ask this: I have rpi 4 b and case and fan and it is ok, but now I bought also lcd 3.5, so I mounted it, but there is no space for fan cooler, is there some case/box that permits to have fan cooler and lcd togheter? if yes, please could you say to me what case? in future I have to do same thing with lcd 7 inch, and I will need same box/case with slot for lcd and fan both. please say to me something :)
ОтветитьSo which is better? Having the fan blow in or out?
ОтветитьI got one of these, before seeing the video, great bundle and price as of time of typing was £20. Though included Hdmi cable, micro hdmi adapter, usb to sd card reader and rubber feet. Really is a good bundle. You should add a referral link to it.
Ответить🤔We will get one or more mini heatsink for the powered chips? In infrared camera it shows the power chips heats as much as the cpu.
ОтветитьThis case is ok for overclocking ? I don't want to buy the big ICE tower :)
ОтветитьGreat video! You can add the heatsinks before you put the PI in the case however when you then add the 4th layer of plastic it can fowl on the heatsinks meaning you have to move them a little so best to put heatsinks on as per the instructions after the 4th plastic is added. Bolts should go top to bottom with nut at bottom.
Ответитьare you sure youre ok?
Ответитьcool video i have now seen many videos i think there are not enough comparsion videos for all cases with stress test and overclock i mean this is a very low price item and make a good job
ОтветитьHey boss man .... I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong but for some reason the power cord won’t fit 🤦🏽♂️
ОтветитьStupid fake cyber truck ad before this. Yawn.
