We need a week to dry out the ground, then a week of dry and hot weather to get hay baled up. I havent seen a single bale in the KS / MO Stateline region which is so wierd, WAY BEHIND TRACK. This little dry spell wont be enough to get all the hay done so it may be July before its done and usually have it all stored by then

101 mph gust recorded at Eisenhower Airport in Wichita this morning.

Wow, almost 2.0” of rain overnight in Central Nebraska Phelps County. Most rain in one storm in a year. Much needed and appreciated. More rain today. Million dollar or more rain as they say.

I realize the data does g show it but there is no place in the southern 1/3 of IL or IN or Ky needs rain for the next 2 weeks. Crops are struggling as it’s been way way too wet.

I asked my sister in south central KS if they had a big wind event with that bow echo, and she said they've seen worse. I don't have an estimated wind from them.

Put a new fence around my farm property 20 months ago. The dirt where the post are set is still completely bare. Good black dirt. Not enough precip over the last 20 months here nw Illinois to get grass there yet
