Wow, those are great! Lol👍
Love the one that looks like Darth Vader👍
Do you know if they ever made the droids in the picture? The one that looks like R2-D2 is really sharp!
Thanks for sharing! I love your oddball reviews 😁👍

I'm still on the lookout for the star hawk in a Canadian box. Had one as a kid, with the red door variation. Crazy that the Zeroid is a reissue from the 60's!
ОтветитьSo much awesome!!! And BTW, that's not a revolver, it's a SPACE revolver. To go with with his space cowboy boots, of course.
ОтветитьI currently have a Knight of Darkness complete. One of my most prized possessions. Lol...
ОтветитьLoved the Ideal Star Team stuff, had the KOD, the flying saucer with the Zeroid and ZEM 21, still have Zem but he's seen better days. That Bat-Guy almost reminds me of Battle of the Planets with the white helmet and bat cape.
ОтветитьI'm honestly digging that Knight of Darkness...wouldve loved a close up of that helmet.
ОтветитьThis has to be the all time greatest knock offs ever!
ОтветитьA knock-off of a knock-off? Wow! Those are great. A.wonderful find. Never mind Lucasfilm for a moment, I imagine DC's lawyers were quite busy in the 70s trying to crack down on all those Batman rip-offs. Lol. Still, not my favorite knock-off that you've done an episode about. That's currently still Mr. Rock. I loved that goofy thing! Thank you.
ОтветитьI remember the STAR Team figures! Some of my friends had one or two, but of course, we played "Star Wars" with them.
ОтветитьLOL! i actually got the Knight of Darkness, both robots and the spaceship for my birthday when i was a kid. I never thought i would see these figures ever again in my life time.
Ответитьtoys for Spaceballs!
ОтветитьMy god I had Star Team, The robot with the ship and the knight of Darkness. I never knew what they were called. It is so cool to know some of the names now LOL
ОтветитьI think theses are cool. How much can old knock offs run? A hundred or hundreds?
ОтветитьIt's a knock off of a knock off. One more knock and it's three times. Or twice on the pipe if the answer is "no".
I'm expecting the Heroes Accessories Robin in the mail, and the Systems Control Headquarters arrived yesterday. You're not the only one who loves knock offs.
i had the knight of darkness and zem 21 when i was a kid, they were great toys. zem was one of the few toys i really ever abused, and i still have him... though he's not exactly in pristine (or complete) condition....
Ответитьwhy would you say these figs are blow molded as opposed to regular injection molding?
ОтветитьKnight of Darkness! That was the toy my cousin Marty had! I pretended his name is Nicotine.
Ответитьi love KO. If it weren't for KO i'd have no toys of some of these things at all.
ОтветитьIt's BAT GORDON. LMFAO!!!!!!
ОтветитьThese two are pretty rad
ОтветитьThese are absolutely hilarious. I remember Woolworths or Kmart selling 3 and 3/4 inch knock-off Star Wars figures back in the late 70s. like straight up to a gold robot and a big hairy gorilla figure. You are entirely correct it is the undiscovered Country for a lot of people.
ОтветитьVery interesting
ОтветитьI had the star team while my mom mailed off the empty box for my Star Wars Early bird Mail in set!
Ответитьman ,dont get me started ..im on break , gotta go!... great post ,later
ОтветитьFunny timing, was looking at a parts lot and saw a knock off C-3PO and wondered what it was from. They have their own charm but the hero looks a lot like Rick Moranis in the opening of Strange Brew. ^_^
Ответитьthe fake darth vader at 1 minute 15 seconds. i got that guy in mint shape
ОтветитьLol😀😀😀😀
Ответитьi had Zem-31 and Red Zeroid with UFO, and a blue Zeroid. My cousin had Knight of Darkness
ОтветитьI absolutely love these and have a few, not the Zeriod though. Great line
Ответитьi think the old Tim mee Galaxy Laser team wins. plastic with a Buck Rogers, Darth Vader, squarish R2, Wilma/Leia with a computer, a Chewie with antennae and sorta X wing fighters. had two bags of them. all characters came in pink, white, light green and black varieties in one bag. lots of fun scaled for Marx dinosaurs , army men or Noah's ark animals. used to carry them around in a big yellow plastic box. i may still have a pic of the box
