So what was in the prenup that made it so bad?

I can see why it would be hard for her when he got injured. My boyfriend got injured and couldn't do Jujitsu/ compete and it took a toll on him emotionally to the point where he was upset and depressed bc he loved doing it so much. This affected our relationship negatively at the time.

This woman is so brave idk how I came across this video but I hope she knows that this is her testimony and God can use it ❤

I didn’t require my now husband to propose for me to move to him, but I did tell him it would be nice lol 🤣he did in fact propose but he said he was going to even if I didn’t mention it ❤

Responding to the question "if you really love him why not just sign the prenup" well because when you give up your whole life to follow someone else and their career, and you have nothing to protect yourself. It isn't about a win fall, it's about stability especially with children

Emily, you are so so smart!! I know you went through a lot of pain but you honestly made the best decision, if you signed the prenup based on his rules you would have been trapped and as you said if anything happened and you had kids you would’ve been left alone with kids

If I was related to him , I would have been proud that he stood up for himself and was not pressured by a fiancé to give up getting a pre-nup . That takes a strong man because most love the woman they are marrying , and would normally emotionally give in to avoid losing her . But he surprised her with his determination.

I think Allison would have signed a prenuptial agreement if Issac possessed a 100 million contract . I think she would have been more reasonable . The younger sister is more wiser than the older sister 😂

They both are very beautiful and intelligent women . Allison is a better fit to be a wife and mother . Her sister is a better fit to be along with her dogs . Both are different.

Emily it’s good to see a woman strong enough to walk away. I played professional sports and being a Christian is tuff because so many women throw themselves at athletes and the cheating that goes on is unbelievable. Lucky for me my faith was stronger than any desire, but if he cheated on you once and you didn’t leave he will or has done it again. My daughter and I watched this podcast because she won’t marry an athlete because of your experience. So thank you for that. There is a difference between a woman that was with you from high school till you became a pro then there shouldn’t be a prenup. Women get bent out of shape about prenups, but they can protect both of you. My daughter asked my opinion on what you went through and I told her that if she could grow up to be that strong then it would just seal how God has blessed us with an amazing little girl. She is an athlete herself at a division 1 school, and she keeps telling me that she is staying away from athletes. I told her you can’t help who you love and if she keeps her values then she can’t go wrong. Once again thanks a lot for your story and God bless your parents for raising amazing girls.

Stop making excuses for him. Standing back listening, he's never going to be the man you deserved. All of those people , his friends that asked ,"why was he not there" or "if you were going to marry him", they all knew you weren't a gold digger. They all probably knew the real him. Who he is at bachelor parties or when he cheated. Please never blame yourself, even as hard as that sounds. I'm so sorry you went through this. I have a similar story...not with an NFL player, but a guy that wasn't really a good dude when it came to you.

It's fine if you want to be independent, but we all have different paths. I think a lot of women are being forced into independence by the patriarchal lens. We place too much pressure on our society especially our women. I think it's important to remember we are all dependent on air to breathe and water to drink. We all have different strengths and some people are lucky and naturally gifted at making money. Not everyone has the opportunity to make enough money to support themselves because of multiple factors. I think we need to value humans for their unique presence and support each other because there is plenty of abundance to go around. Our women, our society needs to be held and cared for. ❤

You are so much better off without this man. I commend you for your bravery in cancelling your wedding on the day of your wedding, Infidelity happens over and over. He would not change.
