ОтветитьLove the channel mate, always a great watch. Thanks mate
ОтветитьLovely adventure, nice session.
Ответитьgoing up this weekend to glenmallon . do some night fishing. cold but calm, and no midgies
Ответитьbrilliant video as always buddy, just out of curiosity do you ever keep what you catch? or are you just a catch and release kind of chap :)
ОтветитьI love the respect between you and your dog. I noticed you didn't step upstream when he was drinking, and then later he waited for you catch up a few times. Pure class !
ОтветитьNice one, a tough walk, well done
ОтветитьExcellent
ОтветитьGreat stuff.👍
ОтветитьAbsolutely superb mate the dogs a cracker to
ОтветитьFished that mark about 10 years ago. Was busy casting and retrieving and looked up the loch to see a boat heading straight for me. There was nobody on it and it had broke free of its moorings. I was certain it was going to founder on the rocks when a guy in a speed boat came haring up after it and managed to get it under control before hitting the rocks. Exciting.
ОтветитьNice fish Mate good going. The walk and scenery there looks lovely place to cast a bait. I remember last December I had a similar walk to a point at melfort…. It was during the Christmas week when the bad storm hit and on the last day of the holiday I done some off the track bushwacking to get to the spot but boy did it pay off. Caught cod pollock and blennys saved the blank for the weeks trip and put a smile on my face for the drive home. Scotland is my favourite place I’d live there if I could 👍
ОтветитьNice video mate... As soon as I seen u were headed to that rocky outcrop I thought about the seals... Because I've been there before on my sib and they rocks r where they pull there selfs out to lie... Ps has sea trout there 2... 🎣🎣🎣🎣
ОтветитьGreat video again, top fish - scenery , and good to see Lana well up for the walk .
Love the comments section, and tips 👍👏👏👏♥️🏴
Glad all that effort paid off!
ОтветитьGreat vlog, I drop anchor in that stretch for a day or two, fantastic, so peaceful and get a few nice mackerel for the grill.
ОтветитьYOU CAN DRIVE UP THERE AND THERE ARE SOME WEE PARKING PLACES. GREAT VIDEO.
ОтветитьSEAL COLONY NEARBYE TOO.
ОтветитьYou caught some great shots in that adventure. The scenes and narration are so good you can afford to make them longer for the viewer to take it in (just a thought, like)... It was a beautiful venue.
I've had that "it's getting dark, and I'm stuck in a thicket" moment a few times myself.
That was some dander to get to the mark! Glad it paid off.
ОтветитьLovely fishing in a great location. Nice Cod, well done. Your reel sounds just like mine 🤣
ОтветитьYour dog sitting with you and a days fishing it really doesn’t get any better than that !😀 Nice 1
ОтветитьYou know folk watch your Videos more for Lara than your actual fishing 😅 loved it I need to get my boy out fishing for Cod asap might try the usual mark at Carrick great Vid mate appreciate the edit time it must take and lack of swearing 🎉
ОтветитьStunning video with well deserved success with the Codling after all that hiking and scrambling around.
ОтветитьI grew up there as a child, and I can tell you that Cod love uncooked bacon rind. My father used to go rock fishing for Cod, and always had success with this as bait.
ОтветитьFun times! Great location and I too have had the problem of finding a different way back when the tide came up.
I'd love to find a way of avoiding the crabs!
Does nobody eat what they catch anymore ? Good vid mate 👍
ОтветитьOutstanding
ОтветитьWhat a lovely spot to fish. Worth the walk. Rather than carry three heavy rods and all that bait, could you have taken one cod bait rig, then a lighter lure spinning rig to cast for coalies, codling etc? Thanks for sharing your day.
ОтветитьGood effort mate, was a good walk there. Love catching codling, never had a big one sadly....1 day.
ОтветитьGreat wee vid, Loch Long has good fishing it seems - one of the few sea lochs of the area to maintain worthwhile fishing; most of the others have been trawled to death. Seems a hard route to get there though, I’m looking at a mark further up at Guanan – might give it a go.
ОтветитьThat forest reminded me of walks in Galloway when I was younger 🏴🏴🏴🏴
