This is my first D&D experience

ive been here for 5 seconds and iom already laughin out loud, will stay tuned!

I'm really enjoying the first two odd jobs! Looking forward to seeing the rest of the party and how the party chemistry shakes out.

If you're going to have a Q&A or content around character creation, I am curious what method of stat generation you used for this.

Okay, is Marlon a nod to the 2000's D&D movie? And until Bahbric's flashback, I honestly thought he was an Artificer. Shows me for making assumptions based off a person's appearance.

I don't know why, but every time Bric ate a fruit, I just had the Pac-Man Fruit sound play in my head, and now I expect that sound to play every time Bric eats a fruit from now on.

Also, Marlon 'Steelflame' Wayans- sorry, WHEYANS, is probably my favorite character so far, this is awesome... awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome! The stats I have seen from Bar’b, Todd, Bahbric, and Marlon so far have been an interesting adventure in my brain. The barbarians made a lot of sense to me but Bahbric and Marlon I literally had whole frozen mind thought process after the seeing their stats. I don’t really know what to say about it.

Everytime Jay gets emotional on reactions, it gets me. Wasn't expecting it during Bonus Action, but then he rolled out with "....Do you promise?" and I LOST IT.

I do have a complaint. I blast through this enjoying the while thing, and now, I have to wait for more. I need 366 so I can binge one each day for the next year. :D

Seriously though, good fun!

OK. Be honest. Who else is "meditating right now" on the fact that Steelflame really is a cool name?

That is a really cool and beautiful design for a displacer beast. I'm so used to the usual basic monocolored panther with squid tentacles design, but seeing one all ornate, and with glowing tails? Chef's kiss on that design and art!

Hope they give poor Ja-Ron a stat reroll prior to the campaign proper, those are some pretty crappy ability scores (especially for a monk). Might be good to encourage him to have a backup ready otherwise...😮

I don't think Flurry of Blows requires you to hit... Pretty sure it just requires you to take the attack action.

I really love these "mini" episodes. It's a great way to learn to know these characters, and I cannot wait to see all six interact. And the pairings are great.

I just came here from watching the Vox Machina reactions and damn! I was not ready to get misty eyed over Jay saying, "Do you promise?"

Is this homebrew rules or does the DM not know (or care) about the spell limitations and rules? B/c Minor Illusion can't move around (ie, dance) and you have to choose an image or a sound, not both (ie, no singing, dancing illusionary squirrel for Mr. Wheyans). Generally need something like Major Image for that, a 3rd level spell. Took me out of the story a bit when the DM just let that pass on a cantrip instead of requiring use of a leveled spell.... and then they do it again with a 'running bric' with the grapes. Minor Illusion is a cantrip and can't do that shit! WTF

Marlon (and by extension Ja-Ron) is quickly becoming my favourite member of the cast so far.
