I immediately thought of Ripley in Aliens of when she decided to go back to the planet that started Alien. Very similar in this movie.

The soundtrack, with the exception of a Shania Twain song and a cover of 'Ghostriders in the Sky', was recorded for the movie. The producers approached the musicians (Jelly Roll, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, et al) and showed them the scenes and described the overall mood they were going for and the artists made the songs to match!

Those drills are used and fire tornadoes happen sometimes. May I suggest “real time tornadoe” it’s a special on events like Joplin and Moore etc. twisters is pretty good for a Hollywood movie.

Im curious what town they used for El Reno because I’ve been to El Reno multiple times and its way bigger than that. 😂 Also side note after she and her friend get into a fight and she drives off in his pick up, that main street with string lights running across was actually Chickasha.

This was such a fun movie, glad it turned out as well as it did.

I love people who "call out" how unrealistic these types of movies are but then will double gulp down Star Wars, a movie about people wearing plastic helmets and playing with glowing phallic symbols. 😂

yes overpasses are bad in tornados, it funnels the wind making the wind nearly 3 times stronger which not only can make u get sucked out but makes the chances of getting hit by debris higher

I finally stopped this a little more than halfway through. Both of you are just so seemingly bummed that the main man depicted as a jerk might actually be a good guy. Don't think I've ever heard either of you watch a movie with such negativity.

I think there is more to this movie if you have watched the first one with the comparisons between the two as this isn't necessarily a sequel, but more of a "requel". The idea that we might cheer for the corporate side at the beginning because that is where our protagonist sits and the "antagonists" are on the wild cowboy team, it's almost flip flopped from the first film. However, even though it leads us down this path of predictability, it still manages to somehow show its strength through compassion, endearment, and practicality through the viewers own fish lenses that really makes this into a special film.

If you two are big fans of Sam Elliot, you need to watch an old movie with this real wife, called (The Legacy)!

So funny/scientific about some of
The things in this movie that make it awesome: 1. Overpasses are the worst in tornados because it creates a wind funnel. 2.The drone in the movie is real. It is based off the Raaven drone and it is made specifically for collecting data . 3. The truck and its features are also based off real chasers truck with a few differences that were adapted to screen. Yea, they use screw digs to keep the truck from sliding in the storm (but there is normally shielding that extends under the truck because, like the overpass, the gap between the truck and ground would create a wind funnel. There would also be caging in the windows etc.
