While sympathy is a characteristic of a good person it kind of gets canceled out when she does the things she does. Also there was a comment that they thought Sylvannas was originally meant to be an equal to Zoval. honestly that made me laugh like where the fuck you hear that from? People non-stop looking for a way to bash the new lore/ blizz

They have already established syl as a person with free will, and she has done awful shit. If they go with this story they are basically shitting on the lore... they can't just do illidan 2.0, and also work the same redemption story with arthas... it's just not creative and it shits on what they have done. Boo on this if its real, syl dug her grave and she has to deal with the consequences if you can't just get bailed out like every other story.

I think people are already tired of this plot changing, man every week the wow developers say sylvanas is a poor vanshee she did not do anything wrong everything bad what happened to her was out from her hands....oohh poor sylvanas......she has no responsability of whatever she has ever done....

...But Sylvanas shouldn't be redeemed, or at the very least shouldn't be given a "Get of of Jail Free" Card. Manipulation or no, she's done far too much wrong to get anything but the Maw. Anything less would be a cop out.

There were also implications that Sylvanas was meant for Bastion as a mortal, but definitely not the Maw. I think it was Edge of Night where we learned she briefly beheld golden planes when she died, which sounds like the Elysian Fields, before she was wrenched back to Azeroth in undeath.

This makes no sense...i dont think its the jailer playing Sylvannis, i think she is playing the Jailer, it was the Jailer that converted Arthus, so wouldnt it make more sense to go after the supplier not the dealer,,?

I wouldn't take what is said in Vereesa's story too seriously, I feel that her dream was something in her subconscious where she was hoping that her sister could be saved and her soul put back together. I think she is working with him, but her goals are obviously different than his. He is still manipulating her even if he doesn't have a piece of her soul. She thinks he is going to remake the cycle into something that allows free will, but his goal seems to be more or less complete conquest.

If shattering her soul allegedly kept her from going before the Arbiter and therefor being sent to Ardenweald. How come Uther's soul make it to be judged by the Arbiter? His soul was also split.
I think what sent her to the Maw when she killed herself wasn't connected to her soul possibly being shattered, but that Helya sent a Valkyr to take her soul from there and bring it to the Maw for the Jailer.

What's going on!?

Sylvanas being redeemed? Yeah no, she still deserves to die. She committed mass genocide, started a war, damned every soul that died in it, and the list goes on but that's just the most recent terrible acts she's done. She should be killed off for committing mass genocide alone. She's no different than Garrosh Hellscream and everyone wanted him dead. What's so special about her? Absolutely nothing except the fact that she's a female. If we don't kill her I'm legit quitting the game because there's no reason we should forgive her, let her live, and that will just show you how desperate Blizzard is to keeping their fan base happy instead of writing a good plot for their story. Which not everyone can appreciate a good story because often times it's not always a good ending even for the main character(s) but that's what is intriguing due to the fact it's more realistic. The fact that they're trying to give her a redemption story is a terrible and honestly kind of lazy plot decision from a story/lore telling perspective just like at the end of WoD when all of a sudden Grom Hellscream was forgiven too even though he did terrible things as well. I hate that the game has become what it is now because I used to absolutely love this game as a kid which is why I still play from time to time but now it feels like seeing the hero live long enough to become the villian and that's just fucking sad to see.
