If u ever have a problem with leaks in the future does everything need to come back out the way it went in to get to the cistern. Thanks in advance people

If someone does plumbing long enough do they become unfunny, a shit singer, and just boring in general?

Thanks so much for this and other guides, after buying one of these as part of a bathroom suite and unpacking I had a WTF moment and was going to call a plumber but after watching this got it all done myself.

i fitted the same as what your doing here, and how you got the flush pipe to stay in the pan i dont know, i battled with a leak on it for ages, it just wouldnt stay in the back of the pan you push it in and after a few seconds it just pops out, i tried fairy etc and it just wasnt having any of it, in the end i used a stanley to trim the rubber rings down slightly and put about 3 tubes of silicone on the back end lol touch wood 3 years on and it hasnt leaked but still waiting for the day cause it just wasnt staying in, so if you have a tip you can reply with for my next one id be super grateful :p

How did you mount the toilet to the floor as there is no screw hole on the side of the toilet?

Your videos are very helpful bud. I wanted to see how you fixed the pan to the floor. My WC needs side entry fixings and I’ve tried fitting them twice now and the pan keeps lifting. I’m using the Rawl Plug side fixing kit but no matter how much I tighten it the pan still lifts. Any ideas?

This video is just what I'm looking for, but... you're speaking as if we have done this before and semi know what we're doing. What about the people who are learning from scratch? Also, you are speaking so so fast which means that it is impossible to follow if you are a novice. So disappointing as I would love to learn this.

I fitted one of these in my bathroom last year. Im now noticing alot of condensation on the black box, seen a few videos insulating the inside of their tanks.
Do i need to insulate the inside or could i just insulate the outside of it seen as its not on show?

James what was the leak ? You seemed to have a perfect size flush pipe. My flush pipe installed by my plumber is dangling out with just the rubber washer helping the water to flow through to the pan and I need to change it to a longer size . Was the leak with the flush pipe where it joins the pan ? Thank you .

Thank you.

Although, I do think I cut the flush pipe a little too short.... il correct it shortly...

Once again excellent advice from someone who actually knows what they are doing, we have one of these built in units, I look at the toilet seat and wonder how we can change it as we cannot get to the fittings ?
Do we need to pull out the complete pan to get access, as the fitting holding the seat is not accessible?
Well done excellent presentation.

Good tutorial thanks. Did one today. Your editing makes this look like a much easier job than in reality.

Top tip: mock-up the cistern with fixing bracket to check the flush outlet is actually in the center of the cistern. I used a universal cistern, and only noticed after I'd fixed it to the wall that the bracket is not centred to the flush outlet (out by about 20mm to one side). Had to dismantle the whole thing and re-drill cistern bracket holes. Fuming!
