As a lil kid my big sister would always play this I thought they were singing my name "Ciara" 😭😭😂💕 I miss my sister so much so many memories I miss you Toshi Yoshi 😩🕊🕊💕

I have rankings from 2004/05 that era, my brothers name and even my friend that passed away name there

There's nothing more nostalgic than this game it was the first game i played as well. 2009 around there just me and my 5 year old self hanging with my dad so many great memories I miss him so much💔

Still crying over this song as a 24 year old. Cried back then as a little kid and I still do. Such a beautiful game

right as my dad showed me my graphics card died, i went to my room, started hearing this song and cried, I couldn't think of anything else, I could only imagine of the great moments I had with it... All the great games I played with it as it helped me render them all, it did it better compared to my CPU's integrated graphics, and that's why I always chose it over the ports connected to my motherboard, I played Ultrakill, Minecraft, and even emulated various games thanks to it, and now that it's gone as it is... I could only cry.
To know one of the closest things I had to me that wasn't sentient, but helped me a lot just died... That was all I could do... Now my dad is just finding a replacement... But it's not gonna be the same without it.

Faced a lot last year (2024) and hadn’t shed a tear for any of the bad moments that i experienced that year, but after revisiting this song after a very long time not even the first minute of the song and i was balling my eyes out, i don’t know what it is about this song, maybe it’s because i love yoshi from the bottom of my heart, he’s always been my favorite character from any game, i even pick him in Mario kart every time, the power of your comfort character can hit hard sometimes.

For a game that came out in the 90s about happy little fruit eating dinosaurs… this was absolutely BEAUTIFUL 🥲

I'm so happy that I can still play this game on my phone bro, after beating the game itself, when this song started playing and telling the Yoshi Story, I couldn't help myself but cry because of the trouble they all have been through, they found true happiness at the end, this is honestly a heart felt game made by Nintendo and I couldn't thank them enough, this is always part of my childhood!!!!

The Story:

The Yoshis (The Parents of the Yoshis that we play as) had a tree that gave them happiness peace and joy. Bowser as miserable and bitter as he is, saw this and was filled with envy. So he decided to use a Dark Spell to cause a CK class Event by turning the island into a Story Book. He then took away the tree.

The Yoshis, unable to do anything and losing their Life force. Started to become Depressed and apathetic. they stayed this way till they eventually petrified and withered away. Dying whilst Starving and being immobile due to the Anomalous effect of the Spell.

They however left their eggs behind, which mysteriously Survived the Curse. And then the Yoshis Hatched. They saw that something is wrong with the world. Their Now Deceased Parents are nowhere to be seen.

And so, they decided to get back their Source of Happiness. So, to break Bowsers Dark Spell and reclaim their lost happiness.
They decided to get the Tree Back and turn everything normal again.

I hope that with this story, you'll Understand why the ending of this Game makes everyone cry.

It's the fact that the yoshis never get to ever see their Parents. They died before they even hatched.

You Play as Little Babies trying to fix the world from a Brute Evil Turtle. and not only that, it is also implied that Bowser took away the source of all happiness that is around the world. Hoarding it all for himself.

So not only did they undo the CK-Class Event and turned the World back to Normal. they basically gave everyone their happiness back.

This hits me every time I hear this song even until now in 2025. And I don’t why 😢😢

The only ending theme song that has me tear up. Yoshi's my all time favorite Mario character and Nintendo mascot. I just want to give him a huge hug 🥰😊🥲😭.
