They’re great for companies that don’t do snow. You can’t justify the money for one, if you need a pickup for plowing.
I would say get a pickup, or a F450 with a flatbed and then get a ramp rack or something along those lines, if you don’t want a crew pulling a trailer. Winter time you can use it to move snow equipment and still have a plow on the truck.
If I could find 1 with the landscape bed for under 30k I would jump on it as long as the millage is reasonable
ОтветитьThat is a shockingly low price for a truck bed. Did he say $3,500?
ОтветитьI run a Isuzu NPR eco Diesel box truck setup, and a Isuzu Landscape body setup👍used them for 15 yrs now! Rolling billboard, and no unloading on the box truck setup. You get caught in the rain, your equipment stays dry! My Landscape truck, I use it to mulch! Can put 8 yds in it, and put my Kubota 2620 tractor on top of the mulch, that I use to put out the mulch👍they also turn sharp as a car
ОтветитьI need one but they’re impossible to find used in good condition or 70K for a new one here in my area!
ОтветитьI'm running a 05 Isuzu with a 16 ft. box. for my mowing setup.
ОтветитьNice vid Brian. I’m actually in the process of changing over to the cab over trucks. I will keep my trailer as a back up. The dealer that sells and repair trailers near me retired. It looks more professional, safer, and convenient. Being a small company I still prefer the crew cab vanscape style. The 22 and 23 models are close to 100 grand crew cab with box. I can’t wait to get mine!!!
ОтветитьDont know how I havent found you before now but so glad I did you have a ton of useful tips and I used one this morning and it worked. And the people you follow have great knowledge also
ОтветитьIsuzu trucks are for people who can't pull a trailer personally unless you get a 4 door and have room the single cabs are cramped for more than 2. They are handy though as far as not having to worry about turning a trailer around if you do tight neighborhoods or something
ОтветитьHes right far as mantienece and stuff too
ОтветитьThe big windshields are a plus too
ОтветитьThese guys are amazing they do great work all over my town
ОтветитьI'm actually very curious to see more of these new DIY lifers living in vans and seeing these high roof vans like the Ford transit 250😳 in lawn care...very spacious and makes perfect for residential don't you think ? 🤯🤔
ОтветитьAwesome video, Isuzus are money making machines
ОтветитьI had a open bed just sold it bought a box truck with a debris dump box.
ОтветитьI use to drive one of those in the box van version. Good truck!
ОтветитьJust the economics behind this makes sense.
Ответитьwe have a isuzu cabover since 2002.. 3.0 lt inline 4 cyl diesel engine, about 192.000km (about 119303.269 miles), runs like a champ.
ОтветитьUsing a 2005 (already newest 4HK1 engine) as a donor for my airstream motorhome. Great truck, drove mine from coast to coast (CA to NY) to get it home. Absolutely bulletproof truck!
ОтветитьIsuzu makes a great product for all kinds of applications. Anyone who is need of either further information or assistance we are happy to help.
ОтветитьHey Brian appreciate all your content the time you put into it man great info you're sharing on your channel that's longer guys stick together preciate you have a great afternoon !!!!!!!!
ОтветитьI’ve been preaching that for years that is the best truck for Landscape. You save a ton of money on maintenance and fuel cost.
ОтветитьWhere can I get one for 44 😂
ОтветитьWhile they are inexpensive trucks, and with the cab over pretty maneuverable,, I would not expect to get 10 years out of them, and you will find the parts and service is priced a little greedy. And they keep a pretty tight lock on their part numbers, Now I had a 2009 I bought new, with the GM 6.0 gas and automatic transmission, It went through 3 transmissions in 150,000 miles, I put about 20,000 a year and for that kind of mileage , a diesel just did not make financial sense . And be careful who you have working on them, you get some brake or suspension work done, the mechanic starts going to town with the sledge hammer,,,, expect to have an ABS light, and a $600. wheel speed sensor on the list of repairs. Just a word of caution,,,get a nice dependable 5 years out of it, and kick it loose, Before you find yourself " I just put a few thousand into it,,,, better get some more time out of it,,,,,,,,,, just put a few more thousand into it,,,,may as well get my money out of that........etc...etc
ОтветитьBest truck for the money
ОтветитьHe should be able to run the original engine and transmission for 600,000 miles, its an isuzu, we still run these things unmolested to over a million km
ОтветитьThese are real work horses. American duallys are way too fancy now.
ОтветитьI'm looking at buying a box version but they've gone up a lot in price.
Right now I have a large trailer that I've pulled for years but it's difficult
to manaveur. I get into some pretty interesting situations with it...
Idk spending what you have to spend for an npr just to cut grass. I cut grass a lot and I want an npr but it makes more sense I think to have a dump and run a small lawn trailer
ОтветитьIs this actually an Isuzu motor?? Or a GMC? Chevy? Isuzu seems to list Isuzu motor on their website, but so far I can only find GMC/Chevy motors in these things for the gas version?
ОтветитьI've driven a manual transm of this truck, pretty fun
ОтветитьWhat will be the current price of isuzu NRR 5diesel variant?
ОтветитьCompetitor against Isuzu:
Hino
Hyundai
Nissan Diesel
Fuso
Foton
Shacman
JMC
T-King
DongFeng
Sinotruk
Too bad they're around 65k just for the chassis cab now. Ended up getting an F450 since isuzu did a price hike
ОтветитьThese trucks use to be affordable! Now they want 65k$ for the distal NRR, even the gas version is around the same price. Same old tech and engine which I love, but u would think the price wouldn’t change much. Used Isuzu is the way to go now, they’re all the same which I like, same parts.
ОтветитьISUZU Truck is like Gold in your hands. Purchase with your eyes closed
Ответить40k new...?
ОтветитьWith all the piss poor mechanical ,electronic, software, and other small but extremely expensive fails.....I wish it was my decision..I would choose this thing today...I wish
Quality and unstoppable reliability were a cornerstone of the industry...I can give arguments for every moving part of every Ford,Chrysler, and even
GM.....The execs don't want to treat the dealerships properly..The dealership service and warranty setup is a daunting trek for any thing... I t s hard to believe it's is so bad...The important thing to remember is that this equipment is outrageously priced and operating costs are no different..
And when I can't get a machine or truck to go,because of a software matter that I'm not allowed to fix?
I picture a mahogany board room with
Greedy old boomers and their greedy kids and it sickens me that anyone would choose such a diseased version..And the trucks are all ugly as shit too.
This is an older video, but should I get a truck like this because I think it’s cool that I can put mulch on this a skid steer things like that because I want to get into landscape and hardscapes but also mowing I just think it would be to heavy to put a skid steer on a dump trailer I try to do landscaping 2 days a week and mowing the other 4 rn I jsut have a utility trailer and a car but it’s for the future. I just like the fact I can have one truck which would be a diesel but damn that thing gonna get hella wear and tear if it’s my only truck
ОтветитьHey, I build those truck bodies!
ОтветитьMy 91 Nissan ud1800 is 12k pounds empty and gets over 15 mpg average. No lie. Around 350k miles, it still runs and goes beautiful.
ОтветитьHow much can you haul behind these, could you run a float with a 5 ton excavator?
ОтветитьThe B10 on the 5.2L diesels is like 305,000 miles.
ОтветитьAuer Shores
ОтветитьRae Plaza
ОтветитьLucy Forge
Ответить891 Nakia Burgs
ОтветитьTrucks and trailers are pretty... but if you've never experienced the convenience of a cabover landscape truck, you're missin' out. The maneuverability alone, yields serious benefits in productivity.
ОтветитьI have two. Pulling and parking a trailer everywhere sucks. I only use trailers for landscape jobs.
ОтветитьWhat do you guys think about the Isuzu cab over trucks? I’m personally a big fan, no trailers and unlimited customization, sounds like a winning lawn care setup to me!
Ответить
