This is so amazing, I want everyone thats hurting to hear this, we need to send it to all our friends, family, neighbours for them to hear. I have been fighting mental illness and running from it all my life. Abusive ( emotional abuse and slight physical and psychological abuse) from my father. No one saw the effect .just lashing out and tears. I got better and wanted to live for once and kept fighting that not too. Except last nigh it hit me again. I didn’t tell any one. I felt like I was no longer able to be repaired. I just turned 54. But for some reason I wanted to listen to your song. Your the God who Stays. If an almighty God who brought me this far ( I am HIS child) is willing to stay and fight with me again. I can be willing to fight with Him and stay with the God who never leaves or gives up on me!

I also I like the song “ Hello My Name is” I relate to this song too. Not a druggy just someone who have heard those voices all her life and now is a Child of the one true King!!!!!

Matthew this is a beautifully written song. For most of us at one time or another we faced a trial in our life and felt alone or abandoned. We used things of this world to take away our pain. This is a temporary fix. Once you give your life to Jesus you will have a firm foundation in which to stand on. He will never leave you. He loves you. He is your true hope. He will help to shape you into the person you really want to be. No matter who you are or what you’ve done He loves you! Allow the God who stays to transform you into a brand new life. God Bless!

I just sang this song last night at church. I'm currently 16 years old. I've struggled with suicidal thoughts, self harm and other things. This song has blessed me and my family in so many ways. Any time I'm down I get on my phone and listen to this song. And it reminds me that God will NEVER leave us!!!
