Do the same steps work in Windows 11?
Ответитьhey pls help me like i gaved my private ip to someone do i worry
ОтветитьLeo: Do you have or recommend a Video on using/Learning all the FACITS assoiled with the FILE EXPLORER. Mine always starts with a( UP Arrow then Blue Star > Quick Access >) Below are Frequent Folders (8) then below that Frequent Files (28). Again where can I learn how to use all the things Above in the top panel i.e. FILE HOME SHAREW VIEW Without fear of mucking up my whole computer? p.s. love your Tutorials Bro.
ОтветитьGreat tutorial. Thank you! Worked great. For those that are frustrated with the inability to currently drag and drop shortcuts to the Win 11 taskbar, you can put that shortcut you just created on the taskbar but it takes a few more steps. Right click, "Show More Options", Pin to Taskbar. It's ridiculous that Win 11 prevents dragging and dropping to the taskbar.
ОтветитьThanx!!
ОтветитьIs there a way to do the same shortcut but for Quick Access in Windows 11?
ОтветитьGreat tutorial Leo. Only I want the shortcut on the taskbar and windows won’t let me 😕
ОтветитьWith Win11 I pinned the folder I wanted to Quick Access and then unpinned all the garbage MS thinks I want in there so all that's left in Quick Access when I open File Explorer, is the one I want to see.
ОтветитьSuper helpful, much appreciated! I would never have figured this out. Subscribed!!
Also once created, if you right click on the new shortcut, you have now have the option to pin to taskbar!!
Thank you very much ! For some reason file explorer opens to Windows-SSD instead of my user files.
Ответитьthanks for great info!
however omitting the "e" still opens with tree view.
Just incase you accidently type wrong file location, right click on the location that you want to open, and click, "copy as path" and add using paste.
Ответить"surprisingly simple?"
Ответитьbrilliant. an hour lost researching. thanks MS. just one little step further. Now, I want to pin this folder to my taskbar
ОтветитьHi thanks for this. I'm making a script to launch multiple programs, can I use this open explorer in that?
ОтветитьBrilliant! Thank you Leo. I've put the shortcut on my Taskbar (I'm using Windows 10 on a machine at work) and now I only have to left-click it once. A welcome side-effect seems to be that I've opened FE I can double-click on the subfolder I want and the left-hand pane jumps to that folder. On my personal Windows 11 laptop, however, which I've only had a few days, it doesn't seem that I'll be do all of this . . . There seem to be a lot inconveniences with FE in Win11.
ОтветитьThank you, Sir.
ОтветитьThank you so much this helped alot your are so wise appreciate it!
ОтветитьHI , I am always a few of your lessons behind , just emptied " one-drive " of my files . It was continuing to take my stuff and losing it all some place that I could not find it . Would love you to tell me that I can now UNINSTALL ONE DRIVE ., COULD I ?????
ОтветитьYou can do it; it’s just not obvious.
