..... Many Kissups on this video, any idea why ?
ОтветитьOld info
ОтветитьI'm sure there is some value to the form4, but, seeing how they were always a laser galvo printer company in the past which set them apart, and now they are using MSLA, kind of makes you wonder if they are really worth the big price tag they come with VS way way cheaper MSLA printers from China.
ОтветитьJust use the printer to make another printer.
ОтветитьDid daddy pay for that ?
ОтветитьDang 1000 dollar
ОтветитьCan you print $100 bills? 🍻
ОтветитьThe problem with resin is the Hazmat issues + long-term stability. These resins are "cured" (oversimplification, in reality it's more-or-less crosslinking) using compounds reactive/sensitive to UV, over time these compounds decay if not fully cured and can even continue to "cure" over time changing material properties. I've taken a highly durable resin part (high grade form labs resin) that sat on a shelf for a few years and it shattered into glass-like shards from the lightest impact.
It's a neat prototyping toy, but is definitely not a lifetime/long-term product manufacturing tool. I have yet to see anything to the contrary. FFF / FDM may take longer, but it'll last far, far longer (depending on the material, obviously).
I've ben in the computers for almost 30 years and I did a tone debuging and troubleshooting and printers were not the exeption and that is why the three D printers frighten me. It is not papers we deal here.
Ответитьnice!!
Ответить10k though :(
ОтветитьUsing phrosin sonic 8k mini went amaing on 8k for jewelry
ОтветитьNice info but getting free $10,000 base unit plus how much supplies is literally paid . You were paid over $10,000 for this
Ответить10k is such a ridiculous premium or a larger size.
Ответитьwhen did your channel transition into long-form ads
ОтветитьHey, I was wondering if/when you are going to review some of the newer hall effect keyboards from big companies like asus or the new logitech g pro x rapid?
ОтветитьI bought a 3d printer 5 years ago and there were still many pain points. I would like to get back into it but Im willing to wait another 2 years before it makes sense again.
ОтветитьCOST $5,000 plus tax and shipping. No thanks. Especially after Trump's tariffs have doubled the price.
ОтветитьDo something about your cables. Gross.
ОтветитьCan you update your OLED monitor list? Is it still the same? What’s the best OLED for competitive gaming?
ОтветитьI'll be impressed when it can print itself.
ОтветитьI use the Form3b dental. I hqve the same observations and experience with the machine.
Great company.
Nice work on your video production and mouse production.
Super cool. Unfortunately they implemented the "Open Materials Mode" that requires that you pay another $5,000 to be able to print with third-party resins. I had a Form 2 and absolutely loved it...I would have never considered any other brand. Until they decided to charge $6K to $10K for a license on top of a premium-priced printer...they brought it down to $2,500 and $5,000, but it's still ridiculous. The "disposable" acrylic tanks also were very expensive...I finally broke down and bought an Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra DLP printer ($375). It had a learning curve, but the quality is as good as my Formlabs printer, and I can use any resin I want without paying a license fee for third-party castable resins. And even better, the metal tanks with FEP film in the bottom...the FEP can be easily replaced and is super cheap. My Formlabs acrylic tanks would crack, and I felt bad having to dump them in a landfill because they can't be recycled. And castable resins are caustic and caused the acrylic tanks to crack.
That said, I'd rather have a Form 4 printer, but until they eliminate the OMM, I will never buy another Formlabs printer. Especially since they've never had a decent castable resin...the least they could do is allow jewelry artists to use 3rd party resins like BlueCast without the OMM fee.
Im confused. Can you buy that mouse?
ОтветитьI knew most of what you were sharing about resin printing, but this video was so well done that I stayed for it all. Gorgeous work!
ОтветитьQuality Upload.
ОтветитьThe Internet of Things...is about to arrive
Ответитьmy 3d printer printed itself.
ОтветитьCan u make a mouse that works with Logitech’s sensor so i can keep using there software
Ответитьhave u seen the new scroll feature on superlight 2?
ОтветитьResing have a lot of mechanical and termal disadvantages in comparison o regular termoplastics.
ОтветитьThis is the first 3D printer video I’ve ever watched. WOW!
ОтветитьThe start reminds me of Westworld.
ОтветитьHey Optimum, are side buttons on future models an idea in the works? Thanks!
Ответитьthis is a superb presentation thank you. im actually using 3d printing as a metaphor for something i coach and coming across your presentation beats the other30/50 i;ve looked at. many thanks.
Ответить"This printer just solved all of my problems" I think ten thousand dollars will solve all of most people's problems, indeed.
ОтветитьThis may be the ticket! Getting parts from China might be a problem...
ОтветитьSounds like... Cheap printer but expensive resin that you re stuck with...
ОтветитьThis is next level advertisement.
ОтветитьCan't wait for the Zero Mouse Blade. I will definitely be getting me one.
Ответитьi kinda want a resin printer now
ОтветитьABS like resins are not like abs at all. They are much more brittle.
ОтветитьI only use water-based, wash and cure. Resin is the best. Doesn't smell bad. It's more organic than not. I think it's all made out of corn actually. But yeah you can throw it in a water bath. No solvent needed
ОтветитьThanks! im going to get a 4L for sure!
ОтветитьBros face is 3D printed, nothing moves in it.
Ответитьthe opti mum
ОтветитьHow can I buy the zero mouse?
ОтветитьWhat technology did Formlabs use to create their software? What tech stack? I am a software dev and was wondering if I could integrate it with AI if it was open source.
ОтветитьHow durable are the resin materials? Do they deteriorate, say when exposed to sunlight, or moderate heat? How does the ready product smell like? Does it have a plastic, or solvent smell? If so - can you feel it on your fingers after mouse usage?
Ответитьsuch a dream machine right there, just an incredible piece of kit! One day I'll get to the point I can justify this level of quality 👏
