Would this help my issue , I have a clubsport wheel base v2.5 and a mclaren v2 wheel and it just randomly disconnects in the middle of the race, im just wondering if I need a new wheel base or if it’s a software issue

Your instructions are a little misleading. I'm not sure about Fanalab since I've never used it, but with the Fanatec Driver Software, it is unnecessary to uninstall it and do a fresh reinstall. Especially because just downloading the driver package doesn't do anything, especially if you're already on that version. You need to open the Fanatec Driver Software, click on the settings tab, and then check for updates, if there is a newer version available then it will install it for you. You then need to go to the firmware tab to actually update the firmware on any of your Fanatec devices, otherwise, the application will be pointless.

Just want to say thank you, Maurice pack is a game changer and ffb feels amazing, I had no idea fanalab could swap profiles automatically when you get into different cars, I almost skipped the video as I thought it was just a vid on how to update the wheelbase and I can do that so maybe you should do a video just on Maurice’s ffb pack as I bet there are many out there that have no idea fanalab can do this, do you know of any more assetto corsa car profiles there aren’t that many in the pack.

Hello. I've bought a few fanatec items all used and from different people, lol. Can I use this video to get everything up to date for the firmware and drivers. I'm not new to software and drivers but one guy I bought the peddles from v3s did mention something about updating them in a certain order or I would brick my gear so I'm a little concerned. Is this still a issue?
I have a csl dd, v3 pedals,and the shifter and a xbox wheel wrc I believe it is. Just dont want to brick something and haven't even got to use it yet. I am on pc of course. Any advice will be great, thanks.

Am I correct in the assumption that the current 'recommended' settings in Fanatec fetch down Maurice's profiles anyway since the guidance takes you to Maurice's in-game settings?

Hiya, Using these profiles in Ams2, are there recommemded in game ffb settings ? I presume fanatec/ fanalab ffb setting are sepperate to the in games ffb settings? Thanks.

Thanks for this information. In game profiles when I now select AMS2 after adding the XML file, it closes Fanalab. Is this normal? I can select any other game, and make any other changes I want, but if I select AMS2 from the list in Fanalab it completely shuts it down.

I can't get the shifter leds running in iRacing. If I uncheck the led box in iRacing I get no shifter leds at all. Do I have to enable the leds in fanalab or should it work out if the box?

Like others that commented below a year ago you don't get the car symbol beside the car profile when replacing the xml file, went through the whole procedure twice, uninstalling, reinstalling, it simply doesn't work. Is this step from the video not necessary now, and it just happens automatically?

i just got a wheel, and cant find fanalab. ap launches coneects half throught the phone . but cant see fanalab does it still exsist?. wheel works with control panel and have nothing else to set it up
