What Makes Killua & Alluka's Relationship So Special (Hunter x Hunter 2011)

i feel like the election arc is arguably as good as the chimera arc, and it is always slept on. killua's character development and him finally finding something that he wants to do with his life is just awesome. and the way that he could have easily used alluka's power to get out of everything, (teleporting to gon, k!lling illumi, sending tsubone and amane away), but didnt, because, as he has said multiple times, he doesn't want to abuse her power and make her feel used like their whole family had been doing says so much. killua loves alluka so much and this was shown when he apologized to nanika. he was so afraid of illumi forcing alluka to do terrible things with her power, that he forced himself to send nanika away. this scene really made me cry cause of how nanika was pleading with killua and telling him how much she loves him. also, thank you sm for making this video, because i am in love with their amazing relationship and you explained it and put it into words so well.
edit: but do yall ever think about just how strong alluka could be if she found some way for her and nanika to become one and take control of her power... like add some combat ability and she could easily be the strongest being in the hxh verse

Like Killua said Nanika is kind, and she is despite being cruel as well, but she is still kind because she differentiates a selfless wish from a selfish one, but no one realizes this except Killua and puts all the blame on Nanika/Alluka and dehumanized her. Alluka is a saint too, she's going through Naruto level shit and she's still compassionate and loving, even towards the being that caused most of her misfortunes.
