2Fort would be much better with a Tentaspy in the moat.

This would be tough to make real-time. The only game I know in existence with real-time caustics is Crysis. Nevertheless, it's a nice effect. I'd say slow it down to the speed of the waves. Also like that they're reflected--though Source water reflects everything.

No, no, 454Casull's actually got a point. I'm pretty involved in scuba diving where I live, and I can attest to that. Things under water only look distorted if you are staring at the surface. When you get underwater, however, (provided you are wearing goggles so you don't have to squint) you may as well be looking through air. It's only the light that refracts and distorts, not the image.
