Shelves in narrow space: yes it's a good idea. Perhaps some clear shelves (I don't know what is available to you). A) it would look good and B) it would utilise this small amount of space. You could actually fit quite a few bottles in there. However, do what feels best for you, it's your space - comments like mine could be wrong.

Agreed with the shelves. The flowers on the stand just sticks out too much. IMO how do you pick out your fragrance? because I know there’s a lot of dupes.? which alien is the gold and white bottom is that one?

The little chest of drawers your boyfriend hates, should under your desk with your office perihelia . And yes, let him install shelves or store your ring light there.
