Noise is such a complicated beast when you dive into it, but this is a very good overview. Also, I haven't worked with Reed instruments at all. I'll have to check them out.
ОтветитьIt's already difficult to work in a warehouse with 'normal' noise levels; give it to a few employees or a very loud individual to make it more of a hell on the ears!!
ОтветитьThis video has opened my eyes on how to go about regarding noise measurement. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьGreat job explaining noise monitoring
ОтветитьWhat do you do with lunch breaks? Do you add an extra 30 mins on the duration with the dosimeter or turn it off during lunch break?
ОтветитьThank you so much. I’m really looking into this myself. Even as a DJ having a home studio and neighbors around me. Great content!! Keep it coming as tech and info grows.
ОтветитьHello. Could you please tell me how I would measure the decibel level coming from my gaming headset? Do I just hold the device up to the set?
ОтветитьVery informative ...I learned so much and straight forward ...
ОтветитьCan a sound level meter be used to measure the loud music played by a neighbour who lives in a detached house in a rural area.
ОтветитьIs there any decibel meter that set off an alarm so that noisy people should tone down their loud voice? Please help me I need this at home for my kids. Thank you.
ОтветитьCan you help me please?
My working environment is 75db, the health & safety manager says that I shouldn’t need to protect my ears for an 8 hour shift, because I shouldn’t incur any damage to my hearing. However, after several years working in this environment, I’ve noticed a noticeable difference in my hearing. I now choose to use earplugs because I believe they reduce high frequencies which are damaging and not taken into account.
My question (theory) is - decibels are pointless to evaluate how dangerous sounds are to the human ear, because it’s not the volume of sound which damages hearing, but the frequency?
Is it possible to have a 75db reading at any frequencies?
Are there more and less dangerous frequencies?
May I message/email you in regards to direct reading sound meter?
Ответить🎉🎉
ОтветитьGreat videos
ОтветитьHey where can i get this certified training?
ОтветитьDo we measure the noise close to the ear of the worker or from the machinery or process generating the noise?
ОтветитьVery useful about the A weighting - thankyou
ОтветитьAre there any Android apps that can measure vibrations?? Most of the good ones seem to be ioS only
Ответитьwhat about outside alarms
ОтветитьAnyone know what the Noise sampling plan is supposed to look like?
ОтветитьI’ve read that it isn’t A-weighting that better correlates with the human response to noise levels but C-weighting.
ОтветитьIs there a standard describing how to measure noise from equipment? We manufacture industrial equipment and need to certify decibel levels of each piece. The only thing I have found is 3ft away from the equipment and 5ft elevated from the floor. Seems like there should be more?
