Dark Souls II was my third souls game. I had played Bloodborne and Dark souls III before(maybe it was Sekiro, I know Bloodborne was first). I haven't beat Elden ring yet but many more times over in this game than any other souls game. DSII is my favorite though. It took the longest to beat but there's just something about it that I love. Good game and good times

Dark Souls II had a lot of frustratingly simple boss fights, but this guy was the perfect Dark Souls boss experience for me. Suffer, learn, adjust, and then feel great when you finally beat him.

He is the best boss in dark souls 2 for me,i enjoyed the boss fight,i think it's balanced and fair and it's pretty challenging

This was the dude that made me stop playing. I wanna go back and finish the game, but my save file got corrupted. Couldn’t understand this dude when I was fighting him. I could’ve sworn those were blasts instead of fireballs when he stuck his sword into the ground. I got hit all the time and died because of that.

This was probably the hardest boss for me in DS2 didnt have a lot of hp to fight him either. Made me almost quit the game. It's saving grace was the bonfire location. I probably died 50+ times to this

Came to see an og fromsoft player at work. I cane in on bloodborne and ds3 and so one but those were significantly difficult for somone just starting a fromsoft game. But seeing all these guys rank these bosses and look super skillful motivated me to try the games out and I'm convince they're my favorite now. Never played ds or ds2 or even demons souls but I love seeing the old graphics idk why

Between 20 and 30 tries to finally put him down with my shortsword and heide's spear; 2nd phase completely different rithm from 1st phase caught me off guard so many times and my greediness was badly punished each time... Definitely one of the best fights for me (I've only finished ds1:r and playing ds2:softs rn).

After beating elden ring, I still think this was one of the hardest souls games bosses

im yet to fight sir alonne and ivory crown dlc bosses but this guy took me almost an hour to beat, definitely the best ds2 boss so far and from what i've seen the hardest. my favourite fights are guys with a sword like nameless king and gael and this guy reminded me of these bosses.

if you've already downloaded his moveset then i recommend using a rapier of any kind(me personally i used a +5 ice rapier) with flynn's ring and conpletely naked. beat him 2nd try with that.
