In this video, I go fishing with my family on Father’s Day! All ages were able to have a good time ultralight fishing with a few tweaks! Have a great weekend and 4th of July!

Very light line and a very light jig head is critical for getting the finicky bites. 2 pound line allows easy casting and increased sensitivity. The 1/64oz jigheads allow the bull bluegill to suck up and eat the presentation with less suspicion.

Children should have a slightly heavier setup to learn on. But it was nice to see the kids wrangling the fish on 2 pound line. If they can do it, anyone can!
