I have that scanner and I scanned my 2001 Silverado and the scanner shows everything checked (NO CODES) green except AIR (with an ❌) but at the button the check is green (shapes). California. Any ideas? Thank you sir

What’s the difference in the autel al319 vs al309?

It has failed to read on my Toyota Hilux 1KD-FTV 2008 model South African make.

Does it require batteries.

I thought it read battery life but I haven’t used mine in over a year and I can’t figure out how to read the battery life.

So I am assuming that when you hit the erase code it only clears the error message but the diagnostic tool still is functional should the error code display again later? Thanks

Good video. Did you have the car running or the ignition on? Just received an AL319 scanner, no instructions or setup sheet. Maybe an omission at the factory? After a couple of failed attempts, the device asked if the ignition was on. It wasn't. Turn on the ignition, and the device worked well.

It would be nice if you could find a car exhibiting an existing code and show an example of finding it on the internet and explaining it in layman’s terms.

This thing doesn't actually tell you anything. I've tried it 9n several vehicles with codes showing and it missed every one of them. It also won't actually reset any codes so I'm not sure what it's purpose actually is.

I had a warning light on my dash and I didn't want to just go into a mechanic blind, your video helped me out with how to use the thing because the included literature doesn't help a new user like myself. I sought out Autel because I have seen many videos with mechanics raving about their devices, so when I saw this device on Amazon for around 30 bucks I snatched it right up.

You should have pulled a couple of wires off your motor to generate a code so we could see it. Maybe take a ball peen hammer to your battery, for instance.

Funny the only code that shows on my car in the fuel pump circuit but probably because i pulled the relay before i started the engine ,But on the code screen has a cross showing the o2 heater sensor faulty ,yet when i look at the code list on the engine it only shows the fuel pump relay code . 1 DTC and no pending codes..
