If you cant decide, you always have the sand there 😉
ОтветитьInstructions unclear, I fell off the mountain at the hairpin.
Ответитьhonestly, i just turn in when i feel like its the right time to turn in
ОтветитьJessie i am willing to enter the corner at mach 1 Jessie.
ОтветитьSo basically guys do a straight turn
ОтветитьWhere and how do I get the book?
Ответить"People always follow the line, I win by making my line" - Grand Tursimo 2023
ОтветитьThis iracing is shit (fun fact)I played it
ОтветитьA lot depends on whats after the turn. Long straight. Maximise entry speed. Tight 2nd etc.
ОтветитьWoah, I’d never have thought the fastest way through meant a double apex, even if it’s only slight. Very cool.
Ответитьis this corner Spa's Rivage?
ОтветитьGame?
ОтветитьI feel like I usually have a blue line but I never really noticed this until he pointed it ouu
ОтветитьSpa
ОтветитьThe book never coming out 💀
Ответитьi ride the outside of that turn and carry major
speed but maybe its down to car setup
Fun fact. With the motorbike we often use the 2nd line with the double apex, also called the V-Line. Due to less grip ( for comparison against a car) we are not fast in the corner but have very little weight which means we only gain time in braking and accelerating. So we brake late as f*ck, get the first apex and then go wide (still on the breaks) because of the fast entry. In the middle of the corner we "turn" the bike towards the exit straight and then fullll gasss🥳
ОтветитьNever thought about doing a double apex on a hairpin
ОтветитьLol off what he said in this vid I wouldn’t trust a single word in that book, the red line is definitely NOT the right line to take here
ОтветитьCan you do that book a little bit cheaper becuase i don’t have 100 dollars to by that book. plz 😊
ОтветитьOne important note, not just the corner, know your car. Driving on the racing line may not be the best line for a low-downforce car.
ОтветитьI think you should turn when the track changes direction, but idk im not a racecar driver
ОтветитьActually a double apex really depends on the corner and if there is a straight afterwards. There are a lot of cases where a double apex is better for speed and consistency because you can just overshoot the corner and apex twice but this needs to be done properly and you're still driving in a line unlike the crooked line seen in this video 😂
It also should be noted that if you need to defend, this is the WORST way to do so 🤣
Edit: Also, the double apex is for HIGH powered cars only. If you are driving something like a miata you should not be double apexing, it does not have the power to do so so it goes to show you that different cars have different lines as well.
Sometimes i do weird stuff like go far left then turn kinda like a backwards 7
Ответитьit depends on the road after the exit, no? in my understanding, after this corner in spa, the straight is relatively short so having a mid/early apex is acceptable whereas a later apex would be slower.
ОтветитьFeel is the best way to know when to turn. That's how I win SIM races.
The only correct line is the line which makes you faster than everyone else.
A book? 😂
ОтветитьDefinitely depends on the next turn.
ОтветитьI notice I turn in far too early on many corners, does anybody have tips on how to get out of the habit?
ОтветитьWhat i'm looking for is how to turn at the right time, i keep turning in too early/late
ОтветитьNot the full picture, to many variables including driver style, car setup and whats after the bend
ОтветитьWhat game is this?
ОтветитьIn this particular corner more downforce you have the better the blue (early) line as you can rotate the car quickly and get the same speed on the exit - meanwhile saving tyres
ОтветитьFun fact, you still hit a double apex in the best example shown.
ОтветитьAllready buy it. I didn't start module 1 and allready I improved my laptimes 😅
ОтветитьCan you pls explain how to set turn in points work? Are There like given turn in points or do you need to find them yourself?
ОтветитьAbsolutely garbage ehen using controller in GT7, you can't do 90%-30% or 1% braking
ОтветитьThis is my problem
ОтветитьBut what if we want to sacrifice time in the corner itself for top speed in the straight that follows?
ОтветитьA book 😂
ОтветитьI do orange so I can get a straighter exit
ОтветитьI can see the orange as like a switchback line
ОтветитьInteresting. I have the book but haven't had time to get very far into it. (My simracing is mainly Grand Prix Legends.)
ОтветитьYellow line is far left side to cut across the middle apex while still turning. Wet line
ОтветитьThis is something I struggle with.
I used to teach motorcycle road racing, and 95% of the time, new/intermediate racers would turn in too early.
With the cars, what is needed to get the car to turn is different, and unexpectedly delayed compared to bikes.
This is the opposite of what one may think. With a car, you can violently turn the wheel, where a bike requires lean angle to turn. So it can only change direction as fast as it can change lean angle.
The difference being that the front very rarely, it ever pushes by trying to turn in too quickly, where a car can, and pushing the front is not as common as with the cars… and doesn’t affect the line nearly as much. One rarely, if ever gets stuck in an understeer situation, and a little throttle induced oversteer can help rotation at the exit of a corner. Applying brake pressure in an understeer situation will usually end very badly for the rider.
One of those situations where previous knowledge makes one slower than someone with no experience.
"The late apex is an apex that can be found also on the inside of the corner, with the main difference being that it is located near the exit of the corner. The best time to use a late apex is on hairpin corners, or corners that lead onto a very long straight." ... "The apex is the point at which you're at the inside of the corner – it can also be referred to as the clipping point. Most circuits will have a curb at the apex to stop greedy drivers (most of us) from running onto and over the grass."
ОтветитьAll depend car settings and driver skills and track = where is next corner. Some car settings are more forgiving and some are harder to handle = when and where to brake depend car settings too.
ОтветитьWhut 🤨
ОтветитьBro selling a book but doesn't say once that the biggest deciding factor of how you take a turn in a race or time attack is #1. what leads upto the corner and #2. what proceeds the corner.
Ответить
