US CAFE standards: Performance vs. fuel economy

This CAFE standard needs to be BANNED! Why we can't have small trucks are because the mpg needs to be higher than is obtainable without hybrid technology. This makes it more costly, complicated more extravagant designs, harder to maintain, and eliminates what the market craves. Instead the wheel base and track size has to be greatly increased so they don't have to abide by the same mpg requirements. this actually make vehicles with WORSE mpg and cost that just keep getting larger. Somehow this needs to be reformed ASAP!
