Man, ivy was extremely OP when she was freshly released. It’s truly a ‘you had to be there’ moment future newer players probably won’t understand.

It’s so funny how people are like “I can’t kite Ivy” when literally you can just run forward and be fine cause she’s actually so slow (I’m a B rank Ivy that’s slowly climbing the ranks to a higher badge) but this is how a majority of Ivy matches go in the higher tiers 😭

I don't think ivy is that strong, of course she has good map control but her chasing is garbage, thats why i dont have an problem with ivy usually and never ban her in rank

being lucky on a simple qm match doesn't mean Ivy is bad and YOU ARE A GOOD KITER

Poor Ivy man.... I could see the insane CN people doing okay with her but I feel like you really have to give 200% to do anything.
I really wanted to get into Ivy bc of how unique the camera looking mechanic is. But alas, nothing annoys me more than being countered by holding W and that's kinda just Ivy now.
She genuinely needs a trait to do anything. Like maybe Warp would be cool on her to make up distance but I don't think she can do much without blink in tight chase either.
All she has now is her mobility and that alone is useless 🥺

I’m an s badge ivy and her chase is so bad I’m screaming for her to get a buff to her movement speed cause she’s just to slow but you can’t sacrifice detention for the hunt on your persona because ivy will always go into end game no matter what and with the tier drop and the addition of 4 man vc it doesn’t make it any better

I am also a S badge ivy, yesterday it fell against zeus because i was with 270 ping in the match lost I also think this ivy was lagging idk

I remember when ivy was able to see where everyone was in the match when she infected one person. Even at the time I was like “holy shit I should NOT be able to do this”

Ivy isnt that hard/unfair to go against (like Wax Artist, Bane, etc) mainly because her chase sucks, her and Jojo fall into the same spot where you HAVE to win the mindgames to get downs. But the momment she gets someone on a chair, HOH BOY!! Thats when it gets tough.

I have to main her cuz I got her S tier OUT OF LUCK under 60 😭 That's even my first limited essence skin in YEARS!

After training so much, I wouldn't recommend chasing distance kiters like Norton & Melly early game as IVY. She would've went for Luca the most & maybe Vera. If Yithian saw Norton & Melly early game, she could just plant an ostracon for cipher pressure.

Ivy has an INCREDIBLY high skill ceiling in my opinion—not at all a bad hunter in my opinion. Once she gets the first down, she can snowball pretty hard, I think(?)
