In the circumstances where it looks difficult to get the 2nd TC up, such as Hades vs Zeus (no Ceasefire, Bolt can take out starting myth unit trying to defend 2nd TC) should the macro change to get military buildings up to get some defense out? Or what should be done if not military production to counter?

Do you know of an Egypt build order to stop enemy fast 2nd TCs?

Generally, after you finished making 2nd tc, in which resources do you send your vills coming out from the 2 tcs?

Hi Magic! Loving the clarity and professionalism on these videos 😎. I have a question: in your experience is it always better to age up faster like this? In the old game I found that staying in archaic longer could sometimes give a much stronger position in later ages, particularly if the map permits it. Where would you usually delay it?

Sure, you can say, the options are open, you can tech, boon or push you oponent. But for beginners, its not easy. So a quick suggestion would be nice.

You can right-click upgrades and age-ups to que them for when you have enough resources

make build orders for all civ....1 get content and lots of people to watch them....2. helps all new players....

Idea for a video: What are we looking for when we scout? I know you mentioned this could take an hour to do but even some basics would be really helpful given the civs in this game are so asymmetric.

A water build order would be great, and possibly some tips and tricks in regards to how water economy works. E.g. should one go heavy on fishing ships especially after winning water for oneself? At which point should I move on to more land-oriented economy? And so on.

don't you find you pop cap before you can build the house with only 1 on wood ? I'm probably doing something wrong lol but i find i need to send an extra to wood after gold

Can u do a order for the agresive part? and not for tc rush just to have options

What would be a simple followup for this build?

I have been watching your streams for some years now, the best thing retold has done is reigniting interest and I love seeing you post videos (and me learning of course). Keep it up.

I am a brand new player to Aom so this video has helped a ton. After I get through this early part of the game I get stuck not knowing what to do. I've tended to just keep advancing through trying to get as much resources as I can, but figure thats not really viable. Should I be starting to attack or try to build up more?

How can I better deal with rushes after aging up? In the Poseidon build for example, whats the best way to allocate villagers after aging up so I don't lack food when building army? The timing seems challenging.

In this build I can hold off the hard ai if I start building barracks etc right after TC but I have to move most wood vills back to food once TC is started.

Why is it so important to build a second town center so early? (Especially if it is behind your original one, so you don't get map control in the middle with it.)

Can you make video how to make army as ZEUS and counter loki/odin/thor rush? Also what is good army to counter egyptian archer chariots with tons of priests?

Can you make a midgame guide? Like Once I have 2 TC I find it hard to continuously make workers from 2xTC while still having enough of a defense for the 7 minute rushes

I don't understand one thing. I never have enough food when I put 7 on food and 5 on gold. I always need to put one gold vil to food for a short time to get the food before needing to build a house to prevent idle time with the 16th vil. how do you manage it with 7 on food? I use the Lure at huntable animals. First 4 to food, then 2 to gold, then 3 to food again. Still I always have some idle time with the 16th vil because I don't have the food in time to advance.

I was also wondering if fast heroic age is a good followup strategy after you have the second TC up? If so, maybe you could make a video on how to do that?

Awesome vid, very useful. :) Wanted to share my experience with it:
I was looking boomy build orders as fast castle to 3 tc is all I do in aoe2 win or lose so the Poseidon one feels really good.
I had a little trouble with clicking on age up at 15 vils because I lacked food and then for the 2nd TC I usually had to wait on a little wood.
This is entirely possible because I'm bad at getting the hunt close to the lure.
I'm experimenting around with 8 to food and 4 to gold and at first try classical age went perfectly but I did need a few secs to get the gold for the 2nd TC however I did build the house with a gold miner and maybe building it with a wood cutter solves that as well not sure.

Since I rly like your videos and comentarys could you do one on mid to end game specificly? I got good second age timing and pretty nice eco but I in the end I almost always lose mid or late game and if I always go agressivly try to punish enemy I gues I end around 50/50 win/lose
