If you take asuppressor case to the 3rd circuit just ruled against magazines. They just ruled a magazine isn't a firearm & it just a part. Therfore you can use the courts own word to say a suppressor also is just a part & not a firearm.

To be fair, you mention how the above gun would have "angered the snot" out of the NFA back then. But what you don't talk about is why the law was sought, drafted and voted into law. The same thing holds true today. We have mass shootings as a thing and when they are in schools, they are especially disturbing. Then there are the children who die from accidental firearm discharges every year and a host of other firearm-related issues.

I remain a 2nd amendment supporter, but all the NRA and other gun enthusiasts seem to say is don't impinge upon our firearms! Without offering any realistic solutions or alternatives or even ideas. (I personally believe that firearms need to be secured at all times and if someone is keeping a loaded handgun under their bed in a shoebox, and some kid does something bad with it, the adult owner needs to bear some responsibility for it.)

However, it doesn't help the discussion when people talk about the NFA as if they want to take away our toys for no good reason, as you appear to be intimating in the above video. (And how exactly are these new triggers different from the bump stock used in Las Vegas?)

God I love firearms, the culture, the technique in firing with precision, the general fun of shooting but surely this just gives the left reason to argue against the big bad rifle. A good trained shooter can put enough rounds on target without the need of 'bump' or other type of trigger types, needless. I mean there are yearly Shooting Days which allows you to shoot fully auto or if you are lucky enough to have a pre 80 something year license for fully automatic firearms. Train hard, shoot well and stay safe good people of the firearm world

Well, I'm getting a receiver SBR'd now because as I predicted, this was not going to last. Looks like the BATFE is about to make pistol braces illegal. This sucks. I knew Slide fire was going away eventually, which who cares about that one because those stocks were stupid. The NFA is just like the poll tax that was used to prevent black A American's from voting. Southern states along with democrats in the government wanted to suppress or restrict black Americans from voting in election's. So they basically made a regulation that imposed a tax the majority of black Americans at the time could not afford to pay thus preventing them from exercising their constitutionally protected right to vote. This absurd unconstitutional regulation was eventually overturned.
