A personal quest of a Dalit for justice.

Hi, I am Chetana Kumari P, a Dalit woman from Bangalore. I have been protesting in front of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC), Queen’s Road Bangalore for the past 11 days. Today is my 12th day of protest. I and my children are harassed and abused by so-called “upper caste” Goondas belonging to “Gowda” community. I have repeatedly sought help from police, courts, bureaucrats and politicians but these Goondas have their influence in every system of this country.
Mr. D K Shivakumar, the deputy Chief minister, is against me and is standing by his community Goondas. These Goondas have had a past with Kothwal Ramchandra- an erstwhile don of Bangalore. This is the same rowdy with whom Mr. D K Shivakumar too was associated with, in the same period when these Goondas were also involved with Mr. Ramchandra. If anything should happen to me or my children, 100% Mr. D K Shivakumar is involved in the crime.
I will neither give up my right nor my land because I am threatened by Mr. D K Shivakumar. I might be a Dalit but not Dumb. I know my rights- And it’s time to bring constitution alive instead of considering it as a mere words that could only come handy for rowdies to get away from the clutches of justice.
