Having gone to a Baptist college, I would guess 99% of students at BYU have broken the honor code.

As a BYU fan, all I have to say is that we should pray for the victims and the accused while awaiting the court's judgment. It is the best we can do!

It was announced yesterday that Tech will play Duke in NYC this year in basketball. The big 12 and ACC should form a scheduling alliance in the two major sports

The ACC should fight like hell for 3. They have 17 football members now. One more than than SEC (16) and one less than the B1G(18)

What is the possibility of the Big XII or ACC pretending to go along with the agreement then backstabbing the agreement and snagging big teams as soon as the SEC or B1G kicks out teams spending too much on NIL?

Has Big XII considered reducing the number of required sports to allow schools to pay the full $20 million. This may help schools like ISU who are having budget issues.

ACC and B12 should merge…two separate Conferences/Divisions…..and shut out SEC /B10…………then build up their programs of equals…..cast off the recalcitrant teams that destroy a conference and think they are superior! ACC is blind to plight caused by UT/OU and USC/UCLA…destroying football programs ! Wake up ACC ….you might be able to stay separate…but what does that get you? Fodder for the Cartel…wake up !! Swallow your pride and realize the reality…that Clemson FSU North Carolina and NotreDame ….will leave you holding the bag if the offer is made and the price is right!
Maybe your volleyball and baseball teams flying to California will give you a reality check..cost , convenience, lack of rivalry, transfer rules and NIL are going to slowly kill you! And who pays the price …your fans and alumni….foot the bill and suffer!!

Brandon Davies, former center for BYU, violated the student honor code and was forced to miss the NCAA basketball tournament in the 2010-2011 season. Time missed but, still returned. Retzlaff's situation is obviously different but if it comes out that the abuse is false, he would likely miss playing time but, different situation with potentially different outcomes given the report.

The B1G and SEC are the only conferences who should get any auto bids to the CFP.

I see no likely chain of events that would cause ACC schools to join the already Tier 2 BIG12. I also see no reason why the new BIG12 would want to get any larger or wider.

I’m all for a scheduling agreement/challenge between the Big-12 & ACC. This would create additional non-conf interest in games & media value. Have 1 week be the Big-12/ACC challenge week where all the teams play each other based on the order of finish from prior year. For example this year it would be ASU vs Clemson, IA St vs SMU…rotate home & away games. Would be fun to tally the wins/losses for each conf throughout the challenge day.

In a perfect world I’d want each conf champ to get an auto-bid and then the remaining being at-large. Unfortunately, we now have media that is trying to influence the matchup’s. As a result, I now support the 4-4-3-2-1-2 model. ESPN/Fox propping up the B1G/SEC brands resulting in lower seeding for Big-12 teams such as BYU. I’d take the guarantee seeds and not allow the media to influence who gets in the playoff. I love the prospect of playing the Big-12/ACC 3rd place teams for the 3rd playoff bid. This rivalry would compliment having a Big-12/ACC scheduling challenge week during the regular season. If fans from the Big-12/ACC get more interest in each other’s league, it will help drive more eyeballs to the games that eventually drives more media dollars to each league.

John, I must admit, I was very disappointed in you when you took a "just give in" tack to the P2. It sounded like you actually believe we are not as good and don't deserve to be in the same conversation with the P2. I believe it is a P4 and I believe we are just as good as SEC and BIG10. The only difference is market share. Well, what about football? Isn't it what this is all about to the public? Are we just going to Cowtow to the money men? I certainly hope not. For if that is the case, I would be done with college football.
