For how crazy and bizarre the Spike tv award show was I think that videogame award shows should be weird and a bit off the wall. I don't think they should try making it seem like going to the Oscars for videogames since many great videogames/ videogame moments are really odd but extremely memorable. I thought the cheerleader stuff made the event seem more fun and loose, the splinter cell meets security guard bit was fun, having a DJ that would play music or just to be a hype man was cool and to have a host that is very charismatic. The Spike tv award show maybe hard to watch but it kind of captures in a way why I kinda like about videogames how weird and bizarre they can be.
