I believe gatekeeping is an important part of any community because simply put there's riffraff out there that will even if not actively will seek to undermine whatever that community is with either bad behavior or other tactics.
ОтветитьGlad to see so many Viet women tuning in.😅
ОтветитьOh youre back!
Yea I've learned in the firearms world, no matter what you do youre wrong.
So do what works for you, SAFELY
Vanish silencers is gate keeping the HPA bill.
ОтветитьLove the Gun Gripes, Stay Free!
ОтветитьKeeping the god given rights of your countrymen regulated and tarnished for the purpose of protecting your own interests is evil and unwise.
ОтветитьEric I own a Fleming registered sear and use in 9mm, 7.62x39, 308 and a 22 conversation. I would gladly give up the value so so myself and others could enjoy any MG we want. 2A for all Americans to enjoy.
Remove the Hughes amendment or eliminate the NFA. 🇺🇸👍
Gate keepers don't know some of us working class folks are machinist 😂
ОтветитьYou messed up getting that trans on the mic with you.
ОтветитьBack when the NFA was enacted, only gangsters could afford machine guns and the tax stamp.
ОтветитьIsn't that kinda what Silencer Central was doing by lobbying against the HPA? Protecting their system of purchasing a suppressor, assisting with all the paperwork , tax stamp and mailing the suppressor to your home once it all cleared?
ОтветитьGate keepers can sometimes be annoying, but that’s not what really bothers me. What really bothers me are people that you can tell from their comments are complete newbies and have gotten their information from their favorite “guntuber” but don’t have any actual experience, and they talk like their opinion has any merit. And they will even argue with you when you try to educate them and just make themselves look like more of an idiot.
ОтветитьAre you the gatekeeper?... .I am the keymaster 🫨👻😆
ОтветитьGatekeepers either just wanna self fellate about being unique and cool or treat the hobby as an investment and not a very expensive hobby. And about the tax stamp, when the law was introduced the tax stamp's worth in today's dollars was around 4800 or something. Imagine that, 5K off your price tag being the stupid paper that says the govt. can't send its goons after you
ОтветитьI'm glad to see you laughing again, pal.
Ответить2A absolutism is a pipe dream at best. All it does is turn otherwise 2A friendly people like myself away from the GOP and the right.
ОтветитьHOLY ASSBOTS, BATMAN!!!
ОтветитьI admit I’m a little guilty of that. As a Florida resident when the Parkland kids started complaining they shouldn’t be allowed to own firearms I saw it as an opportunity to lessen misuse of firearms as many cases involve teenagers but in hindsight I now realize the fake news wasn’t presenting the other side, the kids that are responsible shooters and have been raised right. These days I just support all and hope people behave honorably.
ОтветитьGood to see you back making videos too, see you at the range lol
ОтветитьLucas from T-Rex Arms is one of them. He talked so much shit on gun channels he didn't think were worthy, and now he lost his channel. I call that Karma.
ОтветитьAirplane people are the same way. But to be fair, all the expensive hobbies TEND to weed out the "non-quality people". Which is not to say there are no buttholes in either community,...but the ratio is indeed less than, say, the motorcycle community or the street racer community. There are plenty of buttholes who have money,...but there are a lot more that don't. And I think there is a tendency of folks in those more exclusive well-to-do money-fueled hobbies to appreciate that they get to be relatively free of the undesireables,...and their attitude becomes a bit insufferable as a result.
ОтветитьPeople seem almost mad at me that I really enjoy my Aero or even PSA builds with Holosun or Sig MSR optics.
ОтветитьDo Not Comply!
ОтветитьMiss this channel. ❤ the twitter 🌶️
ОтветитьThe machine gun gatekeepers are the worst in our community.
ОтветитьIf it happened that would make a Glock switch legal for everyone.
ОтветитьSilencerco lobying for nfa
ОтветитьPeople who have supercars and high end vehicles usually pretty snooty- gun people in my experience have always been super cool at most of the events I have been part of, I have a semi auto Sterling that started life as a MG and fortunately it was made by Masterpiece arms -very well made fun gun that always attracts some attention at the range and I have let people fire off a few rounds to spread the love.
ОтветитьI thought WWII reenactment Gatekeeping is bad; 2A is everyone but like Cars...only a certain few can afford certain things.
ОтветитьEric if you want some gripes to go off on go after how stuff looks like it's going to change and never does and the companies that stab us in the back on law changes!!then stamps don't get me started there!!!!
ОтветитьThe gatekeepers that saybif you run night sights and no pistol optic your useless. I have been shot at by three thugs and did just fine with my Ameriglos.
ОтветитьI miss the gripes , from the beginning !!!!!!
ОтветитьThe nasty gun store staff. Nothing like being made feel like a jerk for wanting to buy a firearm. Yelm WA!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьQuestion to anyone willing to share an answer with someone who loves the freedoms of this country or at least the American Dream that some of us desire more then others…….
If you were in a courtroom having to defend the 2nd amendment what would you say?
💪🇺🇸💪
ОтветитьIs it the ___?
ОтветитьWell the Gatekeepers are mostly the reason why just about all the mil-surp rifles are out of reach of most collectors. Don't believe me go to a gun show at look at prices on M1 Garands.
ОтветитьThis community just eats its’ own sadly.
ОтветитьLucas 'skipped leg day' botkin is a BIG gatekeeper to the gun community.
Ответить#1 crowd is/was the ones selling the training gimmicks, especially the NRA $ertified Instructors to get a CC license.
One more thing, all the companies/dealers selling suppressors for $500-$1,500 plus taxes for $20-100 max worth of materials are against legalization...
Shiteaters is a better phrase in my opinion.
Rarebreed Triggers comes to mind when speaking of Gate Keeping.... we finally get a way to give a middle finger to Congress and Rarebreed decides to go against the interest of the 2A and go sue-happy
ОтветитьI think the modern day version of gatekeeping is the rising cost of C&R firearms, they were a beginners way of working with firearms because they were cheap and relatively easy to work with. Now you have Mosins that are close to $500 at pawnshops with noticeable wear with a used AR being about the same price next to it. I've been wating years to be able to get a M1 garand through the CMP but everytime I go to their site all of the beginner priced rifles are bought up as soon as they're available leaving only the highest priced rifles available
ОтветитьInteresting video, some points I think there are examples that it may have been fine (like gatekeep cheap mosins to someone who will chop it up and bubba it back in the day)
Ответитьthis was great episode
ОтветитьI go back and watch the gripes over and over. That’s the value they have!
ОтветитьThe high end rifle guys just kill me, if you don’t have a nights or lmt then they talk mad shit. We have to be more welcoming to the guys with a psa or other budget options . It’s important to be ambassadors of the 2a
ОтветитьKeep up the great videos! You’re a great person!
