Hey Justin, for the overdub AI feature, what does the video show when you add an overdub? I would assume maybe it freezes and you would have to reconcile that visually somehow. Just wanted to ask!

Thank you, Justin. This is an excellent tool! I downloaded it, and followed along with this tutorial vide to edit my first video. It's super easy. The exporting is taking a minute, but if it's saves me time editing, I can always plan my exporting.

Just tried it. Great idea. Great for moving around takes you already know are good takes, and editing out the silence etc. However, they have more work to do. Got bugs. During playback jumps around and at different speeds. Unreliable. Not good for editing mid sentence or restoring previously deleted clips or words. The Transcript is okay about 80% of the time so plan on spending a lot of time editing the transcript especially if you are using captions which everyone should be using. Not great yet. Maybe this summer.

The final cut pro thing isn't working for me.

Great video, Justin! I have Descript and love it - except for one thing, the output video bitrate. My uploaded video is at 28 mbps, but when I export it from Descript at the High setting, it's reduced to between only 1 and 2 mbps. Do you know of any solution?

Hey Justin, how was the video quality when you upload it to Descript then export it? does it lose any quality?

How does uploading to Descript and then exporting to Final Cut affect video quality? I like to use higher quality 4k as I can, so I don’t want to lose anything in the export process.

Hey Justin, great content. I have an Audio Podcast and have been using Hindenburg to do the audio editing (what a pain). I do record the Video but up to now have not used any of this. I publish on Buzzsprout. Would you suggest doing the first rough cut of the Video here and then exporting it to Hindenburg or exporting the audio from Descript straight to Buzzsprout? Love your stuff from one Aussi to another :-)

Hi Justin! Great video. Do you know a workaround to have 2 subtitles displayed at the same time? I give Spanish classes and need to have the native Spanish subtitle but also the English one. Any idea how to do this? What I've done is export the SRT Spanish transcribed, translated with an external website into English and trying to import that SRT English subtitle and see if I can display it somehow at the same than the Spanish transcription caption. Let me know if you have any other idea. Thanks!
