iOS 16 Public Beta - More and More New Features

Face ID is needed to view deleted images in the gallery. A feature I found in IOS16

CarPlay is a big issue. Just about every single day it shuts off, resets and takes up to a few minutes to restore. There is no reason for this happening but I expect it at least once a day. This has been an issue for many months this year and I don't anticipate this will change anytime soon 🤔

There's a problem with the iPad pros when you download the beta version of 16.0 you cannot get it off no matter what you do and you can't even download the beta version of 15.6 it will not let you do anything I tried a factory restore with no download a back up out of the box brand new and it was still 16.0 I don't know what to do any suggestions and it will not reset by the computer also unable to find files that's what it says

Weird, on my 13 Pro (IOS 16 beta 1), I do not have that spelling mistake under iCloud password and keychains.

@zollotech . The carplay issue is with a BMW 5 series 2018, wireless car play. It was faultless on 15.5

I just notice when i switch to ios 16 public beta, airpods max drained more when not in the case compare to 15.5 before. Correct me if im wrong here.

Hi Aaron, I’ve been noticing that my mail app takes quite a long time to sync with the various mail servers to display new emails. This has started happening immediately after installing 15.6 on my 13. have you noticed it or has anyone else?

I am having the creepiest and weirdest Apple Music bug right now. Airpods 3: pinched to play music, playing what I think is my Retro playlist. Watch series 6 on OS9 PB1 says not playing music. iPad Pro 12.9 2015 on OS16 PB1 says not playing, MacBook 12 inch 2016 on OS12.5 not playing, iPhone 13 Pro Max on OS16 PB1 not playing, PC not connected to my Airpods... what the heck??!! LOL! (none of the listed devices say Bluetooth connected on my Airpods 3)
(update) Apparently it's iTunes on my PC even though I don't have my PC set to automatically connect to my AirPods.

Apple needs to work on when your on a phone call and FaceTime call comes in ur hangs up when need a hold on feature

I have iOS 16 on my iPhone 12 Pro got it when it first came out, now I am on the beta 3 and I had two bugs that I found or one idk. On my phone the dots on the home screen that shows the amount and current page(s) gets unaligned, the other one was when I moved my 2 x 4 widget it the widgets page only and I caused a blank home screen idk what happened. But everything else works :) Also thanks for making iOS 16 and 15.6 RC updates and features! I have learned something, again thx :)

I always do the iOS upgrade by plugging my phone into the Mac. I rarely ever run into an issue after updating this way.

I am running ios 16 beta on 13pro and watch os 9 beta on SE and in accessibility, as suggested, I cannot see the Apple watch mirroring option anywhere.

I’m I having some major issues with swiping just sometimes not doing anything and sometimes similar issues with taps I would assume this is because of pro motion but idk

i noticed a feature on ios 16, but i don't know if it's new, it happenes only when you take a screen shot, then you try to crop it, it will automatically recognize if there is a strait line (for example: the blank space for typing a message), so when you slide over the strait line with your finger it will stop for a second to help you crop it easily. let me know if you knew it. thanks.

CarPlay in my GMC has been pretty bad on the 15.6 betas and RC as well as 16 public

Hi Aaron, I have an account on the Apple Beta site, and I have done a backup of my iPhone. On the screen where it shows where you are supposed to download the beta profile, the download button is greyed out, and it says IOS device required for download, and I can't get past that step. Do you have any ideas why this is the case?

I have installed IOS16 on my iphone12 the battery was draining way much faster .. i have rolled back to IOS15.6 ..

Okay how do you turn off vibration when in silent mode…seems like they still have yet to bring that back since updating. Very annoying I have it on silent and I still get vibration.

The icon of recenly delete apps are missing all the time. I have iPadOS 15.6 and it has the same icon and updates before also

For me the public beta has been terrible to be honest. Battery life sucks. Phone‘s overheating. A lot of lagging and crashes. The phone restarts too much. Notifications don’t appear. It‘s just a terrible experience overall.

I’m having issues with CarPlay as well. It’s acting like my phone isn’t being detected. It will constantly connect and disconnect. I don’t think this is a manufacturer specific issue, it’s gotta be software related? I have a 2019 Kia Forte.

I'm running 15.6 on 13 pro max and my battery is terrible after the update. I use to take my phone off the charger at 6am and put it back on the charger by 10pm. I would still have about 40%. Now it's only 630pm and I'm at at 30% . That's definitely a drastic change. I've also been getting so many dropped calls. My phone screen would just go black in the middle of a call.

I've noticed when I take a screenshot it's not visible on my screen. I have to go into photos to look for it the make any edits. I like to edit at that moment when I take it and be able to send.
