I had the idea of a Psychotic Murderous Pokémon Trainer who has a Scizor as his ace. The Scizor also holds a Shotgun.

Scizor is one of the most badass looking Pokemon. Too bad u need to trade to obtain.

In Gen1 I wanted Scyther to be cool and Scizor was the answer.
He's on my default team with Houndoom and Gyarados!

Introduced in 1999 and still a top tier Pokemon design for both Bug and Steel types. Yeah it could be faster, but we can’t have it too OP. Also, Scyther is still pretty solid competitively with an Eviolite but that vulnerability to Stealth Rock is what really holds it back.

Scizor will always be my favorite pokemon, Next up Nidoking, Tyranitar, Salamance, Feraligatr, Sceptile would love to see a video about them too

I think Scizor was good a better bug/ Steel than Durant and Excabiler and next do Garchomp.

I'd say that if I were to talk about a Pokemon... I'd choose Azumarill.
That Pokemon has a LOT of history, from being incredibly lacking in Johto, and going up to a decently good Pokemon when abilities were introduced (where Azu got Huge Power) and the Physical/Special split (so it could use strong physical Water STAB off of Huge-Power-boosted Attack). Then it became part Fairy with Fairy-Type's introduction. I think that'd make for a worthwhile vid, but that's just me. ^w^

I used a Scizor in my Soul Silver when I could trade with myself. It was easier to get Metal Coat too.

and Volcarona held that spot for me until Frosmoth

I actually first used Scizor in Legends Arceus and I got addicted to it. it's weird since Scizor is with us since gen 2 but I first really reconized it in gen 8. Alakazam is one of my all times favorite Pokemon from the early days of Pokemon, and since now I really reconized Scizor, I put Scizor along side Alakazam. It's movepool improved dramatically from only normal moves in gen 2 to fighting/flying/steel/bug moves, trailblaze, psycho cut and technician ability in gen 8 and 9

Used Scisor in my mono-bug team in Scarlet. The bugs are a great team to use in Gen 9

When it comes to scyther, i always keeps him in that form, not only he is my most favorite bug type to this day, but also he wins me several leauges as sweeper, especially with x-scizzor move. Yes Scizor is better as ,pst others says but i always goes with my own personal preferences, just like keeping my trapinch in his first form, rather than evolving him into Flygon.

Wish it was more accesable. That damned trade requirement for evolution barred me from having one for years.

But I could never trade pokemon in ANY game and to get Scizor in the gold/silver games you get it the same way as Onix to Steelix.

Scizor always comes in clutch for me, I just don't like the evolution method. Although, it's still one of my favourite steel types next to Steelix, Aegislash and Metagross

I'm one of the very few people who doesn't really like Scizor. Don't get me wrong. It has a cool design and is fairly strong, but I've always just preferred Scyther.

Syther does get eviolite

I picked up a Scyther for an in game run in Fire red. Looking to evolve it into Scizor once I beat the league and find the metal coat item. I love the designs of Scyther and Scizor!

I loved my Scizor in Silver. I should go train one up in PLA!

Great bug type and good stats but but the 4 times weakness against fire is meh. A fire punch or ember from a none fire type deletes it

Scyther is still a favorite of mine and I always try to make it work for my playthroughs. I do like having a scyther based team in these newer gens, Scyther, Scizor and Kleavor.

Talk about the growing gap between Flygon and Garchomp.

I wish it had a higher bst than scythe since it's an evolution but still peak pokemon

In competitive, every players are not competitive in Pokemon gaming... Over 60% players wanted to play their favourite Pokemon, mostly biased on Ash's Pokemon... If Ash uses a Scizor as an Ace Pokemon, Scizor is OU... It would never fell off...

I like Scizor but I prefer Scyther. Scizor's claws are just a bit too round for my liking and its Mega goes too far in the opposite, pointy direction. Kleavor has both of them beat, though. It's one of my top 10 favorite designs.

I am currently running Pokemon Violet bug type walkthrough and i love it.
I play Pokemon since gen. 1 and Scyther caught my attention there.
When Scizor was introduced in Gen. 2 i knew that it would be my favourite of all time, even if i could not get him at then.
And he still remains to this day my number one Pokemon along Crobat from gen 2.

As a mono bug trainer I will say scizor has stood the test of time and power creep. In fact Scizor has aged like fine red wine. I use scizor on all my bug teams from galar, paldea, sinnoh, and hisui. Its alwasy there, alwasy reliable, my most used and dependable pokemon. Also tera aside Scizor is a instant fluttermane killer. Many times on the ladder in paldea it came down to scizor vs fluttermane and it was an instant win 9/10 times lol
