Saw a clip today of a cop who circled around an unarmed suspect meaning her colleagues were now behind the suspect. She fired her taser, missed and hit her colleague. He then had a muscle spasm from the shock and his shitty trigger discipline caused him to shoot the suspect.

Taser cop woman begins screaming at the chill suspect now bleeding out on the ground. As she realises he isn't attacking, she yells at him to talk to her. He calmly does so while bleeding out and she continues panicking, interrupting him talking so she can repeatedly yell at him to talk to her.

So she put her colleagues in danger, he almost shoots her. An unarmed civilian gets shot as a result. All because one cop didn't think about what was behind her target and couldn't cope with adrenaline, and another had shitty trigger discipline.

2a communities need to realise BLM standing against brutality are on their side as well. Cops are armed to protect themselves. Not you.

Was it an xr15 that Nd'd or a shotgun? If its a shotgun, why r we going condition 1 with no potential enemies within a fighting radius? The shotgunner position should only go condition 1 after the fireteam leader flips off the safety. I wouldn't march armed with anyone that wasn't in the infantry, I only trust an infantry man with a firearm next to me. its cause I know he's had weapons handling procedure burned into his subconscious, by everyone starting from his drill instructor to his fleet platoon sergeant. A band guy or cook doesn't get the same training.

Maybe just don't carry with a round in the chamber for demonstrations. Applies for single shot shotguns, too. If you really think you'll be needing it I doubt you'll be very effective with even a triple barrel.

Thanks for the great video! Really tired of the fudds insisting that these were "accidental" discharges. They say that to exempt themselves, and others, from following basic rules of firearms safety and from accepting responsibility for their actions.

NDs do happen. Inherited my grandfathers shotgun with non functioning safety. learned to never carry it with a round chambered because a blow to the buttstock would allow it to discharge. Also didn't the older Remington 700s have an issue with discharging when the boltwas closed?

When a criminal shoot up a school, it is the guns fault. When a law abiding citizen had a Negligent Discharge it is the gun owners fault.

Agreed. The Breanna Taylor incident is definitely an example of why cops should ALWAYS have to announce that they're police before forcing entry into a home. If someone in civilian clothes forced entry into my home, I would think he was a home invader who was willing to kill, and I would shoot too.

Doesn’t the word “negligent” discriminate against those that are being “responsible”??? This to my ear is nonsensical??? To me muzzle discipline is all but impossible in a crowd. Trigger discipline is usually much more within your control.
