Cotton's attitude towards Vietnam vets was common among WW2 vets.
ОтветитьOne thing I want literally point out about this episode with the Vietnam veterans. That they somehow get together with those that serve in the Viet Cong. My response when I first heard that was wait a second what are these guys doing in the United States they won the war? But then I thought about it and realized, even though they technically won the war economically, they’re not doing so great. Vietnam is still a communist economic failure. Also, the Cold War was won by capitalism in the end. Communism economically doesn’t work. So in the end, despite winning the war, they probably realized didn’t want to admit it that Vietnam is not getting any better. I’m not trying to put Vietnam down, but there’s still poor. Another thing that gets thrown out of the episode as the Korean War veterans. They actually share the same decade generation with the World War II veterans. Another thing I want to point out to is both the Korean War and Vietnam war both of them and this is where bureaucracy goes into place. They were literally not supposed to be called wars. Because our involvement in both those countries they were referred as police actions and oh yeah, to make it even more insane Is these hypocritical bureaucracy jerks go out of their way to literally say oh they’re not real wars because Congress didn’t really vote on going to war.
ОтветитьWow that video referenced with Flippy turns into Fliqpy
ОтветитьGod I love cotton hill
ОтветитьWe Only drooped the Atom Bobs cause we Didn't want to lose more American soldiers on another D-Day in to Japan, which statistically would have been more lives lost, then the two atom bombs.
ОтветитьCotton was too damn savage💯😂
ОтветитьBased vietcong
ОтветитьVietnam vets > WWII vets. Soviets and Europeans did the most of the brutal fighting
ОтветитьWhat episode is this?
ОтветитьImage if khan want with them
ОтветитьNotice how this was the only time Hank didn't just use the Hank Stare until the person standed down
ОтветитьI feel like an asshole laughing 😂
ОтветитьDamn he called them “losers”😮
ОтветитьI don't know the exact science behind it, but I imagine World War II veterans had an easier time with their PTSD because they were fully supported by all of the people in their country to go and fight another organized military while Vietnam vets had half the country hating their guts for getting drafted into a war where the enemy could be anybody they run into.
ОтветитьIf Vietnam vets had not fragged their brains on LSD and other hardcore drugs, they wouldn't have such intense PTSD. I'm with the WW2 vets. Every Vietnam vet I ever talk to wanted to cry.
Ответитьmen hugging
“That is.. a little creepy.”
I think it's so damned hilarious that all of Cotton's "friends" just stayed sitting there watching as an angry mob chased him into the forest.
ОтветитьThis is basically the plot of Rambo 1 except the Sheriff was a Korean war vet
ОтветитьThis, but imagine if you got the veterans from the Gulf War mixed in too. One generation fought against Nazis, another that fought against Commies, and then another who fought against Iraqis.
ОтветитьWho is diane sawyer?
ОтветитьYou gotta remember those vietnam boys didnt get to spend three weeks on a ship talking about this. They got an 18 hour flight home

ОтветитьCotton's dogtags say : :IF FOUND, DO NOT FUCK WITH!"
ОтветитьDying for your country? You mean Israel?
ОтветитьOh no Cotton. America lost that war. As did the entire White race. But soldiers aren't known for being thinkers.
ОтветитьJust came back here from the episode about Cottons ashes and the military bar XD
ОтветитьBoth of my Grandpas were in WW2. One got out in '46. The other one stayed in until '69. He was in Korea and 'nam. They were both in the Pacific. One was a P-51 pilot and the other in the artillery. One of them never talked about the war until he was mear death back in 2010. The other one that made a career out of the Army always joked and had a good time telling his stories. He also said that the Vietnam guys he trained were a whole other breed of badass. He always talked about the Vietnam vets with a great deal of respect.
ОтветитьTo some WW2 vets they are the heroes that defeated two powerful empires and saved democracy whereas Vietnam vets couldn't beat a bunch of rice farmers.
ОтветитьCotton has ptsd from Japanese soldiers
ОтветитьAnd the Korean Veterans were just forgotten about by Hank and Cotton, just like their war, unfortunately...
ОтветитьI hate to say but I know I'll be Cotton Hill when I reach his age with the porn and the younger woman
ОтветитьHank is a fucking asshole in this.
