I love the knobs! Very ingenious! And the legs are perfect! If I may make one suggestion, for a piece like this that’s narrow and potentially top heavy, preemptively installing small French cleats (or similar device) on the top back to attach to the wall would be ideal for a customer with children or pets. This would secure it from tipping over and accidentally squashing an innocent baby or animal that might bump into it or attempt to climb it. Love the finished piece!

You have a wood working shop, save scrap wood is normal. I'm a master trim carpenters daughter and he always had scraps for repairing old trim work.
