My father showed me how to polish my shoes when I was a child in the 60s. I still think about him every time I clean my shoes.

Big fan of saddle soap,cleans and feeds the leather.
But to be honest,most of my quality footwear are pavement pounders.

I noticed you were quoted in the Guardian today.

I just use a tiny bit of shoe cream. After every wear though I wipe my shoes with my socks before socks go to laundry bag....top tip 🎩
