The trigger for Bravo was not a Hiroshima style uranium gun device.
It was an implosion style, plutonium bomb as was detonated over Nagasaki.

Cool video otherwise

Interesting. So gamma rays, energizing the dickens out of the shell of the metal Uranium, some of the U atoms sort of "fall apart," the bits then tunnel (as they are pretty excited) to the deuterium atoms, where they interact with the deuterium nuclei.

The first US thermonuclear explosion was the Mike shot of Operation Ivy. It was a test device and not a deliverable weapon. The Castle Bravo test was a test of a solid fueled thermonuclear deliverable weapon. Your graphics show the Mike shot, NOT Castle Bravo.

Oh yes 1954 the year that had the hottest weather in 34 states and a high of 117 in one state, whilst also the lowest temp durring the summer since records started due to a dust that was in the air worldwide. That could not be a bomb that did that , surely its climate change. They also had wierd tornadoes electric storms and floods, nothing to do with the h bomb, in all 2476 bombs have been tested, but they cannot tax there bombs so we have climate change and carbon tax instead.

The tsar bomb is the king of nukes, it was tone downed from the planned 100 mega tons to 50 mega tons as the designers got scared as to the blast. Only one was tested but it still cracked windows 80 miles away, the bang was heard 100 miles away. The peninsula no longer exists at ground zero. Still 2 others exist
