We get Doom and gloom from the Bible when we read it incorrectly by reading it with the mind of man we have to use our godly mind our soul imagination is our godly mind we have to remember that we are spiritual beings living in physical bodies but we think and speak like we are physical beings trying to have a spiritual experience, but you are spiritual beings who is supposed to think spiritually and read and comprehend scripture spiritually because God is Spirit this is why you are a spiritual being.

Sister Deborah, I have to say that I agree with blacbeautei that every Believer has to get their own understanding. I think what she means is that every Believer has to read the scripture for themselves and get an understanding that makes sense to them. And if they need help they should consult a knowledgeable person in the religion. A believer is not supposed to just follow a person and accept whatever they say as the absolute Truth, even if that person is a pastor a teacher, or whatever. This is the main problem with organized religion today, in all faiths! Humanity, all over the world, has lost this understanding. And this is why humanity, all over the world is misled! As far as the Bible saying lean not unto your own understanding Sister Deborah, what does this actually mean? This statement taken out of context could men a lot of different things. To me, it most likely means follow the guidance of God in scripture and do not follow the understanding of the carnal human mind.
