I just got back from Vegas yesterday after a 3-day trip. I go about 3-4 times a year since I live in LA. I observed there was not a lot of people compared to the same period in the previous summers I’ve been since the 2000’s. But also, I was staying at Waldorf Astoria.

We don’t hate America(ns). Just don’t recognize the US we knew. Its spirit, values and morality have started changing into the opposite that the states were standing for. We still believe in freedom, equality and freedom of movement.

In the 2010's I vacationed in LV for a week 2X a year. When 2020 came and being 10yrs older I Quit. I tired of the all day air travel ordeal from back east here. With all the hassle getting in and out of the airports and the 5hr flight it easily takes 8hrs or more just getting there. Then after the week you do the whole thing again in reverse going home plus losing the 3hrs you gained with the time zones. I can drive to Atlantic City in 3hrs flat in my own comfort. I've stayed there since the 90's. AC ain't LV but it'll do.

With a majority of the people are struggling to put food on the table and have a roof over their heads it doesn't make financial sense to travel anywhere much less pay for resort fees, parking and expensive food. It's not just a Vegas thing it's a financial thing. I always liked Vegas and just not in a position to spend a lot of money right now to just try and have fun right now! Maybe it's just me.

As a local i am at Venetian 2-3 nights a week and its busy on the machines. I think more people are gambling on the slots and less are seeing shows etc..

I was in LV a couple days ago......I spent a couple days on the strip and it was half empty compared to the many past experiences I've had.
