JEPI and JEPQ are solid! I think the tech exposure in JEPQ might skewer the results, considering how crazy the highs were last year! People’s expectations might have gotten a little out of whack! They pay a good, reliable dividend/ dist every month, and I wouldn’t hesitate to pour more money into them! The income fluctuates a little, but you should know that going in. It stays in a comfortable range, and some months it goes up, which always seems like a bonus! 😅 I think the greatest asset of the funds is that they’re run by JPM, and that gives them a level of confidence and dependability that some other funds don’t have! It takes out the “sketchy” feel, and I like that!
ОтветитьGood vid. I like the J’s, but I switched to SPYI and QQQI for the increased dividends and potential of greater price growth.
ОтветитьLike to build these to use for income when I finally had enough of the 9-5
ОтветитьThe coolest thing about JEPI is you can sell covered calls against it and potentially make even more. So you're selling covered calls on a covered-call ETF.
ОтветитьI with a lot of people in that I sold all of Jepi and split in qqqi spyi and iwmi price appreciation and great dividend
ОтветитьJEPI and JEPQ have been underperforming the market greatly. Not good for wealth accumulation, good for monthly income if you don’t care about accumulating wealth.
Better off with core holding being growth market, total market and some sort of diversified dividend fund.
Thank You, excellent analysis.
ОтветитьYou should check out or revisit QDTE and XDTE. Per seeking alpha total return, they are outperforming QQQ and SPY along with beating every other covered call etf I could find that track those
Indexes.
Absolutely amazing , I think the weekly compounding is start to boost it pretty significantly against all the other monthly paying funds
YES
ОтветитьGreat video! Can you do a video on GPIX and GPIQ? These are Goldman Sachs version on JEPI and JEPQ. iShares also has a JEPI competitor called BALI
ОтветитьFantastic video. I like how you tackle this and show everything. Nicely done. How are the yields taxed for JEPI and JEPQ?
ОтветитьSay so sell covered calls or cash secured puts at the money and you are in the money ok every trade, would you lose all your money overtime even with the premium you collected?
Ответитьbuying as much schd and jepi as possible
ОтветитьExcellent video!! I own JEPQ (my #1 position), SPYI (#2), JEPI (#3) and VOO (#4)
Ответитьwould FEPI/SVOl be a better option?
ОтветитьThe problem with these analysis is the data pool that everyone is drawing from… The high yielders have been beaten down and many of the more “growth” type of dividend funds, are setup to see draw down in there share price for quite some time. While the high yielders have already been beaten down. Just my take. So if you are just starting out, the risk of LOTS of capital loss in your initial investment, at this period in market and economic history, is very real.
ОтветитьThank you for this great video!!!
ОтветитьGPIQ!?
ОтветитьJoe be careful- The Market valuations are at all time highs- Everything works in a Raging Bull Market- Protect your downside
ОтветитьJoe have you ever been in a bear market ? other than 2008 ?
ОтветитьGood content. I buy JEPI daily and I also buy SCHD. What do you think about AGNC?
Ответить😂 what about expenses. Its cuts into the returns.
ОтветитьExcellent research !!
ОтветитьMy plan was to use these funds in a roth to dca and reinvest the dividends over a ten to 20 year period.
ОтветитьS&P 500 or VTI should always be your core holding.
ОтветитьI think JEPI can be a good ETF to own provided that you have a broad based index fund such as VOO in your portfolio.
ОтветитьWHY NOT CREATE YOUR OWN ETF AND SAVE THE COMMISSIONS ? .
ОтветитьGREAT COMPARISON. WELL DONE!
ОтветитьI'm 54 and I own JEPI and SCHD. Which should I be putting the most into each month to help me generate the most income in 10 years?
ОтветитьDo you own any of these? Or do just own QQQ and sell options on it yourself?
ОтветитьSo many colors to choose from…I’ll choose pink. And light pink!
ОтветитьJEPQ is the best
Ответить4.5 hours ago I actually bought 10k USD of JEPQ
180.78962 shares @ $57.73 a share
Very well done...what I most like about both of these ETF's is that they have a bit less volatility than the actual indexes.
ОтветитьI'veJEPI/JEPQ and SCHD/SCHG and I'm retired. These combo are working out Just fine! Altogether getting close to 6% yield.
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьJEPQ and JEPI are excellent dividend etf
ОтветитьI sold jepi & jepq for xdte & qdte
ОтветитьI always suggest reinvesting, if you have to live off dividends or earnings in retirement.
ОтветитьI personally think JEPQ is a really solid ETF.
ОтветитьWhat about DIVO and JEPI as satellite?
ОтветитьAre Jepq and Jepi good to hold in my personal brokerage or just keep them in my Roth? Right now I hold some in both. Thanks for all the help!
ОтветитьIm income portfolio rn:
JEPQ
JEPI
SCHD
YMAX
YMAG
This deserves more views. Such practical info. I’ve seen something similar at Secure Wealth Lab – both are 🔑 for young adults.
ОтветитьI hold gpiq. What do you think of it?
ОтветитьAre these funds turning people away from bonds?
ОтветитьAre comments highlighted in the video still valid amid Trump's tariff and currency war?
ОтветитьPeople who say they should not be a core holding are totally missing the benefits. Especially in the case of JEPQ you have downside risk of a very high income stream even if the market goes down, where you’ll be reinvesting those dividends. Simply put you are DOA in the best sort of way. Where can you get a 8-12 percent income stream and still have potential gains in portfolio value?
Ответитьi went with JEPQ / QQQI. for around 15% of my portfolio. doing ok so far, nice for monthly cash flow
ОтветитьThumbs down for the stupid intro.
