I miss the voiceover! Sometimes I listen to retro pc videos while walking my dog.
ОтветитьAwesome! I would to build a retro rig like this... Where did you get all the parts?
ОтветитьOh that's a nice removable mobo tray.
ОтветитьThat is a nice build!
ОтветитьNice video, turn off the music, good Lord.
ОтветитьSo THAT is how the LCD at the front gets set. I've owned a couple PCs with the clock speed display and never bothered to look at how it was getting is info. Neat!
ОтветитьGood god you deserve so many more subs my dude
ОтветитьPretty Creative Vid. Looks good! Background music is awesome, what is it?
ОтветитьBack when computer cases were built like tanks.
Ответить"CMOS battery failed" ugh, those Dallas clock chips. Well, at least they didn't leak poisonous acid goo all over everything like the old barrel batteries. You can get them working again pretty easy by dremeling away part of the plastic casing around the dead battery and soldering a CR2032 holder onto its + and - terminals.
Ответитьthe 99mhz on the display at the front looks awesome. nice addition of the 5.25 drive as well, some of these very early pentiums would have had those floppy drives when they were new as well. great job getting it all working, especially the drivers.
ОтветитьExcellent build I really enjoyed watching this one! I have a thing for AT computers, like 386, 486 and Pentium stuff.
ОтветитьMUITO LEGAL
Ответитьremovable motherboard tray 3dgamerman would be proud.

Ответитьi just built myself a 486 DX2 66 retro PC.

Ответитьmy first ever pc was just like that, only difference was it had a soundblaster audio card and i didnt had that bigger floppy drive, i wish you used the funny sounds it make instead of the music, .. when i got an upgrade i got a pentium 133mhz.. geez i dont know if i miss those times or what.. anyway, cheers!
