Good job
I love your channel! Thank you
ОтветитьVery beautiful I’m sure you know how toxic fox glove is for people and pets makes me nervous watching the babies play in the garden without gloves just touching to leaves can make people sick I learned the hard way ❤
ОтветитьMore Blondie ideas 💡
ОтветитьWow! Your little one has TOUGH feet! Those rocks with bare feet would do me in! 😂
What a beautiful yard!
Just watch out for those foxgloves with you boys as they are poisonous x
ОтветитьI have wanted guttering on my house for 34 years. Forget it. I am doing the stone dry creek bed now I collect as much water I can with water troughs for my animals and flowers, but now I can do both! Even a mix of cement and stone will work. Thanks! 😊
ОтветитьYour backyard is cozy and beautiful. Your beautiful as well💕
ОтветитьLove this! Thanks for sharing how to get creative when on a budget. Always good to check for free stuff on Facebook marketplace, too and I love trades! A friend of mine and I are always trading plants, pots, anything free that I see that I don’t have a place for I always grab for a friend to share or do a DIY on it, sell it and get what l want. ❤❤❤ You have a beautiful yard and home! 🤩
ОтветитьThe weed fabric no matter the cost will not keep out the weeds and the fact that its not good for the earth either. Use cardboard instead
ОтветитьI have the same type of blocks in your foundation. Se of the blocks un the front porch area was damaged. I took some clay like concreat and formed replacement areas for the porch blocks. I swear that till this day (20 years) later, after painting the foundation,.even I can't pick out which blocks I repaired! I'm a female with gumption!
ОтветитьBeautiful beautiful!!
Ответить" 💜 " the Precious Cottage . . . Inside and Out. The Field Stone Look's Beautiful as a "Boundry" as Opposed to the Paver's. It's More of a Cottage Look.
ОтветитьWith the raised garden beds. We did that with cylinder blocks. Bout 3 high. Way cool idea
ОтветитьYou should have taken the plastic up to the house and up the wall a bit. Piled biggest in the back.
ОтветитьYou are so pretty
ОтветитьVery pretty❤
ОтветитьI absolutely love the stone dry creek! It's beautiful.
ОтветитьTry lupines they seed just like the Foxgloves, so you’ll be able to add freebe’s to fill your yard!
ОтветитьCreek bed is the best DIY project! Great idea!
ОтветитьYour videos have inspired me to pursue my passions.
ОтветитьI live in Spokane, and most of the homes here have rock around them for snow and rain drainage. Not many of the homes here have gutters for the same reasons as you. We also have what’s called rain ladders, which is kind of like a chain with metal rain, catchers, i.e. mine has 3” wide upside down umbrellas. It protects your landscaping or rocks from the rain beating down so hard. This is the first video of yours that I have seen. I’m a new subscriber… I love what you’ve done! ❤
ОтветитьBeautiful projects - thanks for the inspiration. Foxglove is poison - by the way.
ОтветитьThis yard is beautiful, just an FYI, Foxglove plants are toxic to people and animals, although they are beautiful!
ОтветитьI just learned this trick! Buy a jug of mulch glue to spray your pea gravel with. (If you haven't already.) It will keep your pea gravel under control and also helps with weed control! Love your walkway idea.
ОтветитьThese stones will not be free to everyone else, and stones are very expensive, especially stones like those.
ОтветитьWatch the children around some of your flowers, they are poisonous. Very beautiful indeed.
ОтветитьVery very nice u did a fantastic job
ОтветитьHello, I saw the title and said to myself..."let me watch to see if I can get any ideas"...I have to say I was more inspired by how God provided materials through your church and church members as well as wisdom through your dad. As I was watching your son walking around the flower beds on the rocks I had a HUGE Smile on my face, because I pictured the image of walking on streets of gold in Heaven. Your backyard is a heavenly scene. Thank you so much for sharing. Blessings.
ОтветитьYou are so beautiful and talented and sweet. God bless u and your family always
ОтветитьI know this is an older video, but I found contractor bags that are actually mint smelling. It not only smells good, it keeps bugs, ants and critters away.
ОтветитьI would like to see less of you in the video and more of how things were done in your garden!
ОтветитьYour outdoors is absolutely beautiful. How I would love to have a garden like yours. Unfortunately, I live in a part of a state where they place us on water restrictions . I've added some plants but I hit my limit since we do have grass, which I want to keep green. So it gets most of the water.
Enjoy!
Andrea an idea I have used landscape fabric. I always end up with weeds at some point. We now use cardboard (we usually pile several pieces on top of each other). It stops the weeds longer than landscape fabric. Now we use it for our vegetable garden.
ОтветитьLove the bench. I did the same thing. I did have to pressure treat it. As it wasn't pressure treated.
ОтветитьThe random weeds in your walkway actually, IMHO, add a bit more charm to the walkway!!
😍❤❤
Field rocks that size are EXPENSIVE! Good on you folks with your DIY resources. I’d love a river rock bed, pretty. Dad is right about the gutters, sigh. Congrats on everything!
ОтветитьMmm…I’d hit that s hit
ОтветитьFOXGLOVE is POISONOUS!
ОтветитьThat river bed is awesome! I’m jealous. I love stones.
ОтветитьIm just retired and know i have the time. Im fixing my desert backyard in a budget. Thanks fir the ideas
ОтветитьAndrea, this is such a timely, gorgeous video! My husband & I have been putting more effort into our yard than ever before & as you know projects can be expensive. Thank you for the budget friendly ideas & taking the time to share!
