You can buy index fund ETFs on Robinhood

Robinhood was too simple for me and the customer service was not good. Once Schwab went free trades for stocks and ETFs, I left Robinhood quickly for Charles Schwab.

Is it cheaper to buy Vanguard index fund or etf in Vanguard? Or it going to cost the same on Robinhood and Shwab? I want to get into index funds or etf but it's not clear if it is more expensive to get them anywhere other than Vanguard. So is it best cheapest to buy Vanguard sp500 index fund or etf ( VOO) at Vanguard or is it ok to buy them somewhere else (Robinhood/Shwab)?

Charles Schwab, they have some great tools, great customer service, and a debit card that does not charge any fees for using other ATMs here and over seas, you get refunded for those fees.

How is Schwab considered old school? It's one of the big three with Vanguard and Fidelity. Certainly more in depth than services such a Robinhood.

Two questions: would you rather open a roth ira account with Schwab and have wealthfront as your taxable investment account or vice versa? And why?

What banks are supported by Charles Schwab? I tried using M1 Finance and Robinhood but I had to go through the process of trying to open an account which took weeks due to the bank verification process only to find out they don't support Flagstar Bank. It was very disheartening as I was so ready to start investing. Now I'm back at square one😔

Schwab it the best! Been with them for 20 years.

Charles Schwab is not really a good platform. 25,000 USD starting cost and half of Europe is not available despite being available in EU. Terrible reach and they do nothing to improve themselves. This video talks and talks about nothing, but misses crucial points essentially.
