Evan isn't lacking talent, it's just that Dillon Gabriel has struggled to grow chemistry with the WRs, and Oregon has the best WR room in the country, so he has to split touches with two other top receivers.

Yeah for me ever since I saw the leap Quinn took in terms of pocket presence, and the fact he's younger than Carson, despite the injury problems, he is a more complete QB. Shedeur is as well. Also Jalen Milroe is pretty good but Cam Ward is more clutch. I see Beck as borderline round 1 or 2 at this point.

Donovan Smith has draft stock?!

The Evan Stewart question is easy to answer if you know the Ducks. Stewart was brought in explicitly to replace Troy Franklin as Oregon's top deep ball receiver and he's done well enough in that regard. The problem is he's just not going to be able to put up mind blowing stats so long as he's competing with Tez Johnson, who is clearly Gabriel's #1 target, for receptions and especially when Stein wants no more than 2.5 seconds holding the ball for Dillon. Add Traeshon Holden in as well and it makes for a loaded passing game but one with little room to stand out from the pack. Well, unless you're Tez Johnson that is.

The irony is that Tez is probably the least likely to see a significant role in the NFL, outside of possibly special teams, just due to his size. 5'10" and 165 lbs makes for a dynamic college football receiver but doesn't exactly translate well to the pros.

It's not even Ollie's fault. He's running behind arguably the worst offensive line in the P4 if not the country. The entire OSU team is in turmoil. Gundy is aloof and doesn't care. His coordinators are bad at their jobs and have no worries about getting fired. OSU treats Gundy like a god and lets him do whatever he wants, including running the program into the ground.

evan will bounce back. he’s a terrible fit with checkdown addict dillion gabriel. evan is an elite downfield threat and he just doesn’t push the rock down the field. whether he comes out or goes back im sure a team in the league will have a place for him. reminds me of jordan addison

Ollie Gordon added nearly 15 pounds of muscle during the off-season, which was a stupid decision because his size and weight was good, but he decided to bulk up which did nothing but hinder his ability to play
