Meh, coaches don't win games.

Won 2 ships (Wigan, Souths) rebuilt NZ Kiwis including a 30-0 thrashing of the Roos, broke Billy's "impending" dynasty with QLD after being 1-0 down including winning at Suncorp. He's a no nonsense, defence first coach who will have no qualms telling Walshy to pipe it tf down and managing the huge egos we have in the dressing room. Add to that he coached Rendog to a Ship, that reunion will be chefs kiss.

With The Riff losing key players, chooks losing half their squad, with the squad we have, I'd say if Madge can get the squad behind him, we could be fighting for a GF spot.

Whilat the way Kevvie was axed was brutal, it is the right call for the club. When even your own staff are snitching on you during the review, im sure it was untenable even for Kevvie. Even Gordie, a massive defender of Kevvie said last year that he overachieved getting to the GF.

Let's get this straight, though: he isn't a Cleary, Bellamy, Bennett. He's not the kind of coach that you could have long-term. But with the current squad we've got, he's the best coach and the best opportunity we have of bringing another trophy back to Red Hill in the immediate future.

Very harsh to sack Walters but I am supporting Maguire and let’s hope the broncos can make the top 8 and more in the upcoming season and years under him
